Now that 2014 is almost over, and we have all the AAA games released, I'm curious to know what your top 5 games this year are.

Here are mine.

1. Alien Isolation
2. Middle Earth : Shadow of Mordor
3. South Park : Stick of Truth
4. The Wolf Among Us
5. Destiny (yeah yeah consolefag)

Biggest let down, watch dogs :/

1) Divinity: Original Sin
1) Heroine's Quest (yes, technically it'd be 2013, but it came out on the 24th of december and I played it in January, so...)
2) Wasteland 2
3) Shadowrun: Dragonfall director's cut
4) Quest for Infamy

Lords of Xulima and Grimrock 2 could be in there as well, but they're still in my backlog. Sad

1- Alien Isolation
2 - Dragon Age Inquisition
3- Forza Horizon 2 (yeah yeah console peasant)
4-Divinity Original Sin
5-Starbound, even though I havent touched it in ages, I really loved it. I'm waiting for the next huge patch before playing again. Nightly has a LOT of updated changes but I prefer to wait for the final product

I still haven't played FC4 though.

Biggest disappointment: Watch_Dogs and Alien: Isolation.

There're no other games to fill in the 4th and 5th positions.

3. Train Fever (in absence of any proper train business sims that´s my best entertainment in this sector and no, A-Train is not a proper train business sim)

I hated Divnity for some reason.

Good to see so many Alien Isolation entries on your lists, I really enjoyed it. Was definitely a pleasant surprise for me as well.

Shadow of mordor nemesis system was also great.

1. wasteland 2
2. alien isolation
3. elite dangerous
4. south park

by hours played (window active):
94 hours - arma 3
89 hours - elite dangerous (all in VR, will beat Arma by end of year)
51 hours - wasteland 2 (only just reached California)
31 hours - watch dogs
20 hours - dayz
19 hours - alien isolation
17 hours - south park
12 hours - broforce
12 hours - wolfenstein

I'm sure fc3 will rise somewhere in the middle by the end of the year

Haven't tried Alien and Divinity for now due to lack of free time.
I didn't like The Walking Dead Season 2, Far Cry 4. Dark Souls 2 didn't pull me in like the first one.
Honorable mention goes to Banished, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Metro Redux.
