This game needs some serious polishing. The prologue is simply pointless and awkward (even ifit's meant to be a tutorial). Combat is too slow and way too tedious. As in, not fun. Sometimes clicks don't register at all. The highlight button is broken; unless you set it to toggle, it won't work -- but in toggle mode, it's crap. Also, wtf is wrong with V-sync?! I set it to "on", yet there's screen tearing.
On the upside, the soul mechanic is not bad at first glance.

Personally, i like what i see. In each area you should switch between the demon and the puppet. You can find different things. Don't use only the puppet while in the safe zones. Each area has its shadow and you will find something new in the shadows.

You'll find something new all right.. but areas are the same.. they don't change drastically which is a shame.

I actually bought Lords of Zulima  but considering that it's a proper,complex and massive RPG I've decided to postpone playing it coz I wanna do it without any distractions, so I'll get to it in January

The recent decision to split Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms into two Books and the afforded additional development time allow for increased scope and significantly increased playing time. Nah. Unless it's 4-5 euro, no chance in hell. My next purchase will be Lords of Xulima, as i friggin' love what they did. I already own Valkyria (preordered from GMG using a voucher and got the game at around 14 euro) and the final is this game (though, i'd rather wait to be completed).
DA:Derpology is on my list of purchases named: "when a blue moon comes"
Plenty of nice games (indie and AA), so...Plus, i have Aarklash to finish (recently started and enjoying it).

Seems like release of the Kult on steam and Book 2 is delayed until bitComposer's insolvency is resolved. :-/
