Apparently AVG is pretty good... http://www.grisoft.com/
Personally I use Symantec AntiVirus 9, not because I researched it for being the best or anything, just happens to be what I use, and it works well enough...
Other than that, not sure.

I use Zone Alarm with Antivirus and I really do like it. Works like a charm for me.

hmmm... i downloaded nod32. it appears to be good... at least it had detected a troyan i had on my box... norton and kaspersky didn't.
it suppose to have an "advanced" euristic. and use only 12 mb ram, which is goood.
thx anyway. i think i gonna stay with nod32

There are only two real competitors on this market:
Nod32
&
Kaspersky
Pick anyone of those and you're set.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

NOD32. The cracked version will give you updates for 40000 years or something. With norton you only get the one year of live update.
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

Supprised noone mentioned Avast. Ive tryed NOD32 Kapersky etc...and so far NOD32 and Avast are the ones that do the best job imho. I chose to go with Avast so I don't have to do the hazzel with blacklisting etc on NOD32

nod32 has no firewall in it, at least not the version 1.1274 (20051103)
if u got a static ip, and visit hardcore sites like nforce (lol) u should worry about a good firewall. if u got a dynamic ip the firewall from windows should be enough.

I'm using PC Cillin 2005.
Works great.
Firewall and anti-virus.
Runs smooth in the background!
I hate you.
