I was a pes fan until around 2005-6, then it was fifa afterwards.
However, the gameplay on pes this year absolutely whoops fifa. Are there any pes 2015 PC reviews, because all the ones seem to be about the consoles

I've played it. There was only a slight input lag in headers inside the box. It was fixed with a patch.

I'm not going again in a input lag vs momentum/body placement argument. You obviously want every player to respond directly to your controller commands. I have a different approach.

There were input lag, in ex. when you wanted change player, and you hit L1 (?) player changed 0,5s-1s later, it wasn't that much, but everybody has it, and everybody complain about it. This same thing happened if you wanted shoot, pass or do something else.
I bought it last year, and when I saw that patch for this crap was released two months from release date, I give up, and said that I will only pirate it, because konami is not worth my money anymore.
And yes, I am fanboy of pes, I won't play FIFA, but it's sad when you watch Champions League in tv, have this game-thirst and want play some football on pc, and you realise that in last years there is no time worth pes, no football game to play.

I always considered "input lag" in PES series to be a design choice.
It was always less snappy than fifa, and less snappy feels less arcadey to me.

I think you don't know or remember of what I'm writing about. This "design choice" was considered as a bug, and fixed in first patch (two months since release).

yeah, i didn't play 2014 before a few patches so didn't experience the actual bug.
i'm talking about the general delay in time from pressing let's say the pass button, to the actual pass happening, that is present in all my favorite PES entries.

Spoiler: | nERv
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (c) KONAMI Digital Entertainment
11/2014 :..... RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION .......: Steam
1 :.......... DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE ........: Sport
KONAMI returns to the football field with PES 2015 with a return to core PES
values. Thanks to the incredible FOX Engine, PES 2015 delivers stunning visuals
and animation where the world s greatest players move and play just their
real-life counterparts, while PES ID ensures that the whole team matches their
famed playing style. Every gameplay element has been retooled for a more responsive
experience, while new shooting and goalkeeper systems ensure the
heart-in-mouth feeling that comes with a top-level game is faithfully recreated.
Close control, tackling, and the balance of play also perfectly reflect that of real
football. Similarly, players can now use the new myClub system to develop an
all-conquering side, building from humble beginnings to create a world-class XI.
With all-new multi-player modes, real-life managers pacing the touchlines and
new live data, PES 2015 does its talking on the pitch.

Alright, time to see who's the winrar this year in single player. (Assuming that those lazy bastards at Konami haven't downgraded the gameplay as well despite the claims, that is. You really never know these days )

Gave it a go since im no fan of easports as a company. Unfortunately this is so much worse than fifa 15 that its not even a serious contender like it used to be.

since i got forced to play again on ps4 this evening i thought to give it a try after coming home now. can tell you in a few min
edit: just as i thought, waste of time! this hybrid clusterfuck isnt worth a single penny! looks bad compared to the nextgen version, doesnt appear so but when the camera isnt moving its very obvious. the interface (scoreboard etc) is horrible, looks like you playing a ps2 game on pcsx2. gameplay feels different compared to the ps4 version and last but not least: even the ai is different. nice try konami, and maybe next year

I played two matches, and some challenges of "skill training" and this edition is really better than 2014 (but I think it can't be worst).
I must play some matches to say something about defending or attacking, but shoots are nice (but sometimes I saw really unrealistic shoots from CR7 in "skill training", something like Roberto Carlos vs France '98 ). I can say that goalkeepers are better than last year too.
Someone will tell that graphic is like shit, yes it is, but who cares when you have nice gameplay.
I played vs Juve (Pirlo shoot a goal from free kick), and vs Bayern M. Playstyles of this two teams was really different. I didn't see playstyle of Juve for a long time, but when I played with Bayern I really felt like Guardiola was sitting on the bench ;p . Pressing, passes into my penalty box... It's hard to describe but that was two different playstyles.
Tomorrow I will play it. Oh dear, I will play it moar .

Hmm, I'm not going to judge this game based on videos, I'm still downloading the ISOdemo. So can anyone tell me, aside from the graphics, what is so bad about 2015? Is it actually somehow worst than 2014? Is it just different but not better? Or is it better than 2014 but still shit in your opinion?

Ok, is it just me or the game seems to have micro stutter? My fps technically stable at 60, but I can see the Fraps counter changes between 59-62ish every milsec and it is not smooth at all. Especially when the framerate is capped, where ever drop is happening should still be way above the 60 line. But more importantly, Despite 99.9% the game runs at 60, the game feels like sub 30fps. It stutters or skip so much I can't even tell if the animations are just crap or the game visually runs at 30(that doesn't even make sense).

Initial impressions:
Graphics received a huge downgrade. I just hope it's a settings bug but tbh I don't think that's the case. I don't care so much about graphics but this is unacceptable. I have a feeling KONAMI did that by purpose and they just deserve their game to be pirated by all pc users. That said, it's simple: KONAMI should gtfo of pc gaming.
I've played two 15min matches and gameplay is really good so far. There is obviously cpu variation in attacking and it's a joy watching the cpu AI pass the ball around.
Flaws so far: Fouls are minimal, shooting is overpowered imo and there is still some passive goalkeeping inside the box.
I'm going to play more tonight and will be back with more detailed impressions.

Absolute fcuking bs. You don't like PES, we all get it.
Gameplay feels different?? You sure about that?? Because I've played both and they are identical.
Nerds that have such an affinity to a certain football game who feel they have to flame on the competitors game. Pathetic. Get a job

@fearwhatnow: nope, thats not a bug. due to the hybrid engine shit the gfx is downgraded compared to lasts years version
