If we talking prepaid cards here, you will not get 1gb of highspeed afaik.200 to 300 Highspeed while everything above that will have a heavy speedcap (enough to browse the web with patience, send pictures of hobos or dead birds per Whatsapp or play Ingress tho).
Buy a Congstar simcard, activate it in one of the countless Internet-Cafe thingys and enjoy D1-Net coverage almost everywhere (while paying less than with a Telekom prepaid)
I apologize if i somehow missed the point of your question

Depends what you mean with "highspeed". If simple 3G is enough for you you could get a Congstar card, 1GB is 12,99 € I believe.
If you need LTE, I have no idea.

Damn, that sounds awesome. I don't know if I'll ever visit Hamburg, but if I do, you will most definitely find me there until the end of my stay.
Have fun Kumkss!

gonna search for it later in the week.
tomorrow and past tomorrow i have to work. which is nice here. it takes two - three days to make the same as in Chile would take 2 - 3 months.
for now, im trying to find an open store for tobacco and water... and all seems closed.
gonna search a little more. | You'll either find a rewe, or a gas station for that :/
BTW Bad Homburg is just around the corner, but I guess you already left
