Robot becomes alive, robot has emotions, robot subsequently gets bullied hard cause he's "different", robot sacrifices himself and ultimately gets perceived as a good guy, even by the ones who harrased him. IF that's not the whole plot of this movie, then, colour me surprised.

Robot gets a job as a security for the rich from Elysium, Robot gets killed by Matt Damon, Yo-Landi - Chappi's wife cries while breast feeding motor oil to their newly born child - 0b10000, credits...
