okay i'm watching the twitch stream, thanks so much for the reddit one, great if you wish to play early But this looks imo a bit too much like black ops 2... i'm worried the awful console lag compensation will be present. Maybe it's the twitch stream because i'm NOT impressed by graphics. EDIT: Graphics looks much better than black ops 2, he ran the game on ultra, although it killed his 680gtx (20 fps) I'll hold out like JB said and judge later youtube videos. Thank god we don't need a hack to change FOV this time around If they can nail: game balance, campers are not welcome killstreaks, no nuketownxp bullshit maps etc it could work

Yeah it's pathetic, but maybe it's because streaming with twitch really puts a damp on your fps? How much does twitch take from you when you stream?

As crazy as it sounds it also might be caused by limited amount of memory. 2GB might just not be enough. Is it justified or not I don't know.

The game recommends 4gb video.His 680GTX is with 2gb.What you expect for ultra? To ran perfectly on the card which has half of the recommended memory?

VRAM != framerate. Low VRAM will mean stuttering and swapping as textures as paged into VRAM from main RAM. The fact that a 680 is crippled by this, "Ultra" or not (and I doubt Ultra preset forces SSAAx4) is just hilarious to me - but then, the same shit happened with Ghosts too, and that was defended by people

Well, I assume the screens on the previous page that show Supersampling set at 4x are from the same stream, so it could have been what the streamer called "Ultra".

About that streaming on twitch, it's amazing, the game looks exactly the same as any previous COD with the only difference you can now make high jumps

Well the game indeed looks good in SP,better than Ghosts ( not so much in MP as far as I see from the stream going right now ),so I'm not surprised that 680GTX is not enough for "ultra"

Yeah, I got that same impression as well. It does say "Low Settings Test" however, so if it looks like older CoDs on Low I guess it's not entirely terrible.
With that said, even without taking the visuals into account it still has that exact same "feel".

Framerate is locked to 90 it seems, so it's hard to tell how well it scales.

I though it can use the new 64-bit CEG , but it uses only steamAPI. They don't need much protection anyways as all their cash comes from MP for which you must buy it. Hmm thought 680 had at least 4GB vram. I'm an amd gpu user, my cheap" 7950 came with 3gb.
