Seriously.. GTA VC was my fav but after playing V, I can't go back to VC Laughing

(and thats not because V is the newest, it is for what it is. IV was crap compared to VC and SA, but V is just awesome in every (gameplay) aspect)

opinions, opinions. I like gta IV the most but admit that gta V is the grandest and most polished

There was nothing to do in the vanilla IV after you finished the main story. You end up with 1mil + and you have nothing to spend it on - you can't buy property, you can't buy cars, let alone modify them, the side activities suck balls. Its different story if you add some mods but the vanilla is boring.

I agree, that was some big omission in GTA 4 that effectively made the game boring right after finishing the story, though I have to admit that by then I had already played the game for like 50 hours. Sadly, Vice City did the complete opposite which was just as bad, if not even worse. It forced you to do a excessively high number of secondary actitivities in repetition (e.g: taxi jobs) so you could buy some very expensive properties which were pre-conditions for the last 2 missions in the game. The moment I realized that (had to read it in some forums) I immediately shit-deleted and watched the last 2 missions on YT Laughing San Andreas was ideal in that respect and had a nearly perfect balance. Hopefully GTA 5 does it as well?

I just like the world, attention to details, physics and atmosphere. Turning on rain and driving at night, is still one of my fav things to do on lazy evenings

In GTA V you are not forced to buy anything to progress. You get enough money for everything through the Heists. Some properties are more expensive though and you need to play on the stock market to get enough money for them. Its nice addition but its easily exploited because you have some missions to "adjust" certain market shares for your good and if you know when to do that you can earn enormous amounts of money Very Happy

I have no problem with very expensive items as I'm not obsessed with completionism in any game (only exception would be Arkham games because of The Riddler Very Happy) but making those very expensive items a requirement to progress in the story is a very bad idea to begin with.

I hope people know the terms Oversaturation and Overcontrasted, it's not like 360 wasn't possible with Sweetfx like that.

A update is out and apparently it resolves the issue with the music copyright so it downloads some new archive for the music system, probably with said songs removed or replaced.

Lame ass copyrights... the consumer should be protected from this kind of crap.
I'm not okay with them removing content years later from something I bought at the time.

That's the new Capitalism+ 2.0, man. The producer reserves the right to keep his hand in your pocket after delivering the product... in case he needs more money in future, or changes his mind.

Piracy is killing PC sales. Laughing Laughing Laughing

More like Developers/Publishers are killing the sales but that's hard concept for folks to understand.

That fanmade fix:
Quote:
* 10ms frame delay has been removed. As a result, game now locks properly on 30 FPS instead of 25 FPS

Indeed, proof is shown by the apologists and defendants of this crap on the Steam forum.
I'd get it if people just don't care much about it... but defending it, nah if you don't have an investment in Cockstar/copyright shite I don't get why'd anyone would defend it.

So they must find the concept of Devs and Pubs fucking up to hard to grasp.
