Since Starforce wasnt able to fix USB-trick with their own drivers, they decided to fuck up the Windows USB system drivers. If the protection doesnt work the way you want it with the OS, you just change the OS to work with the protection the way you intented it! I ask myself if this is legal, since the drivers (usbport.sys and usbd.sys) are copyrighted by Microsoft. Oh and btw their super duper new SF 3.7 version got bypassed by mounting a simple mini-image on a 1x virtual drive.

I foresee a:
"Hello community!
First let us start by saying: "Sorry for our foolish promises"
... blah blah blah...
"DT4 will be ready when we feel it's stable enough for a public release"
and
"Hold your horses!"
---
Two months later!
"The new version of Daemon Tools 4! \o/
"Yay!"
"Sorry, but we failed to deliver what we promised,
but here it is!"
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Daemon Tools v4 delayed
Ok, folks - as most of you probably already know, we have to delay v4 for around 14 days due to a serious bug.
We worked hard to get it done for a October release, unfortunately shit happens from time to time.
From now on all threads concerning the release date of v4 will be deleted, and people who still complain will get an extra time out from the forum for the next 14 days. Seriously we have more important things to do, so keep it quiet and let us do our work.
If this doesn't work out, we will shut down the forum registration for a while - so it's up to you.

Fair enough....I'd rather have a less bugged version, than one with a serious bug, if thats the case

I hope the starforce developpers won't be able to disable DT4 other way then by modifying it. It would be nice if they did - they could be sued by DT4 team and, in case of loosing the trial: bye bye, starforce.
