I had uber crappy net before, now it's a bit better with 10/1

I can get 1000/1000 here but the local CityLAN (who owns the entire fibernet in the city) are squeezing money out of every 1GBit-connection ordered (ie. pay an initial fee of €75 and then €4/month), THEN you have to pay the ISP for the service. And the CityLAN hasn't even upgraded my house with a simple CPE/VRG which means I have no access to Internet based HD-tv. I have to BUY their CPS (Customer Premises Switch)/ CPE (Customer Premises Equipment)/ DRG (Digital Residential Gateway)/VRG (different names for the same thing) for £75.
