Yeah, you have to fiddle around a bit, but not much. I can´t even remember the small things i did, but it works so well now!

Blocked Imtrusions
3256 Intrusions have been blocked since install.
325 of those have been high-rated.

And the firewall has blocked 29399 access attempts.

I uninstalled ZA this morning... It went berserk on me and started throwing pop-ups about IP's etc trying to access my compy. I also noticed that without ZA activated ppl could dl as usual on dc from me, but when i turned it on, no-one could connect to me...

Undoubtedly all of this was due to something i set wrong in the options after having been on a LAN with all fw settings off... Anyways, this was like the 5th time i got really, REALLY pissed off @ ZA so i uninstalled it. I'm running Outpost now, runs like a charm, easy to config etc... I'll never use a Zone Labs product again.

How do you change proxy every 10 second?

If you are using fireforx, there is a great extension called SwitchProxy Tool thal lets you switch proxies very quickly. Nice tool.

I don't find the tool nice. It makes browsing veeeery sloooow.

As for how paranoid I am:
- dumped IE
- firewall (kerio)
- kaspersky antivir
- spywareblaster, spybot (they got far less work since dumping IE)
- xp antispy

And that's pretty much it. Sometimes I use proxies if I get banned on a board Very Happy

I just ran this through a number-crunching session in Excel and it seems you've been pinged about 3256 times. Cool

Got the usual software protections.

There is something that I do that could be construed as paranoid I guess. That is, I use 2 browsers. Explorer for legitimate, work related, or secure browsing (yeah yeah, I know) and FireFox for anything remotely dodgy.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Btw as I already said I have absolutely nothing to hide, of course like every guy on the intraweb I have my regular porn folder (scat porn for ZTC), other than that I'm not an elite scener, or a secret spy for teh eff bai hai and no I'm not running a child porn distro ftp on my computer.

It just drive me crazy to see, for example, when logging on www.randomwebsite.com adds like meet "this hot girl" living in *insert_city_where_you_live*.

What I also hate is marketing, like, and this not computer related, I went to the local Wal-Mart I bought a shitload of DVDs, cds, games and at the cash register the lady ask me for my zip code, I was like "wtf, I'm buying for xxx$ in your store and you expect me to help you building your free marketing campaigns, screw you" of course I just said politely no, but wtf.

You might think that I'm crazy, but actually IRL I'm not paranoid at all, my GF is always bitching at me cause I forgot to lock door when leaving to work.

The FBI can come, beside a few kazaa download my PC is clean, I just hate the idea that people are using me & my personal info without my consent

Sounds like the beginning of the end my friend...jealousy in a relationship is never good and will fuck it up, if its continued. Seriously, unless u wanna lose ur girl, ease up...as long as your confident your the only one she's with (sexually and in otherways) then dont worry. Most of the time, its the insecurities of the guy, not the actions of the woman....has happened to me and I learned the hard way. Neutral

yea i get what ur saying, i dont even have a basis for acting like that, she never flirted around with anyone and is sticking to me all the time.
guess ure right i could fuck it up like that but i sometimes cant help it its just the way i feel ya know. my last gfs were damn bitches, the "no man s gonna tell me what to do" - type (that means flirting around behind ur back and so on), this girl is the only really great one i ever had so i m being very overprotective.

ah and about being paranoid, i m using service pack 2 and also got rid of ie, using opera with popup-blocker.

I feel ya still...but not every chick is the same and sometimes u actually get a "good girl" or one that can be trusted. Ive been fucked around too...but im tellin ya, jealousy will fuck it up and she will get fed up with it. Im talking from personal experience, may not be the case...but i think most women are alike when it comes to this issue.
