The game works fine with Dual Shock 4 + some drivers, it's detected as XBONE controller and everything works, including vibrations Makes it easier to play.

People still insist on comparing different genres of games? I thought we already moved past it few years ago?

Bananas are tasty and healthy but they are not refreshing because they're dry. When it's a hot summer day, no one goes "man, I wish I had a banana right now."
Cold soft peaches are the best fruit. When not in season, chilled canned peaches are next best.

One thing is awesome in this game. Basillius - the voice/mocap actor is great with his overacting.
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual

The gameplay is very repetitve, but I really like the motion capture and the graphics. It feels more that I'm in an interactive movie. Nothing spectacular though and I'm not sure if I'll finish it.

I don't get it. In the cut scenes they have sometimes a really good style. The story is full of cliches but bearable. The areas are just very short and very narrow and the fighting and especially the enemies are repetitive...
Everything except the core gameplay is really good in Ryse
The graphics are absolutely fantastic and apart from the occasional horrible cryengine camera bugs, the game is easily the best looking game right now.
Really sad that they apparently rushed a big part of the game

LOL I played WoW back in 2004/2005 (vanilla) and you are bullshitting. This UI looks impressive to a non WoW player, but to a WoW player it's a joke.
Most of the things here are useless : first of all 40 members in a RAID is useless, and sometimes at least 10 of them aren't doing shit.
Also, I had some UI like that back then, since I was a Mage i had to uncurse my mates and see if they had the dot on them.
I was playing a Mage, and honestly my only role was to spam a key to launch frost bolts, and another key to uncurse if the boss was cursing group members.
That's all.... No need to be a genius to play WoW, at least not to play a Mage...

There's a reason why WoW is known as a podcast game, you know.

No point arguing with people who haven't played WoW at a competitive level. Every noob thinks if he's doing LFR then he's a pro when a braindead monkey could "win" at that.
Just look at this drivel

40 members in a raid is useless? Kay pal, do explain as a healer how you're supposed to raid heal then? Or heal specific targets which get a certain debuff, or or or..
Right you're clueless.
And gz on talking about vanilla WoW and your 1 button mage. Game's gotten a lot more complex since then and i can bet you were in a shit guild and nowadays you wouldn't even manage to clear normal.
Yeah you don't need to be a "genius" to play wow, at a braindead monkey level (aka lfr/flex/normal). Also nice use of the word "genius", you don't even seem to understand the meaning of it. Do you need to be a "genius" to succeed at any competitive multiplayer game?
Good lord, forgot who i'm talking to.

Lol.
Game hit the plataeu at the burning crusade, then it just got dumber and dumber and dumber after wrath of the lich king.
And the correlation between wow and Ryse? It's a game made for instant gratification that requires little thought.

I wouldn't say it gotten more complex...
WoW mostly needed coordination that is all.
For me, I lost interest with every expansion released since there was no consistency and it was getting less and less challenging (Yes there are always a couple of bosses that need you to bring the right people).
That screenshot above isn't really complex, most of the people who raided (even the casuals) ended up with an UI looking like that. Most of the numbers are clutter anyway and are just there to make things easier/less tedious to manage.
Still it's one of the few games that did raiding right... just after a few expansion you'll be done with it since it's just a repeating cycle.
I won't bash WoW for going into a direction that wasn't for me. I enjoyed my 5/6 years there (less in those last 2 years). It's a good game and I'd still recommend it to people who want to take their first steps into MMO's.
But yeah complex and games... that usually doesn't mix well. It's like when people were going on how complex EVE is... in the end you just learn a system like you would in any game. It's more tedious than complex, but that is jut my opinion.

despite the very undeveloped combat, game feels somehow fresh and new and worth the 4-5 hours campaign.
