Hey guys I'm in the tuscany area now and I search for a nice place to eat "typical" italian food like pasta pizza lasagna or a simple tomato soup. All the places only have local cuisine, sea food or just boar and food that looks more like modern art :/ is there a special name for the type of restaurant we are looking for?
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Sorry for the late reply Pumpy, don't have the internet access when at work :<. I believe the name that you're looking for is "Trattoria" . They're basically like normal restaurants, only with more traditional food. Many of them do pizzas as well.
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with that particular area of the coast, but what Dingo said is true, it's definitely easier to find what you're looking for if you head to smaller towns (away from touristic areas) which are not aimed to pleasing seafood fans.
They all have 'normal' pasta though, I can guarantee you that.
There's an app for android that has been quite helpful for me lately, it's called yelp. It shows what's nearby and often has reviews of the places (more often than google).
