I've had this feeling as well. It's been quite a long time without any announcements. Either they're putting in a lot of work on stuff like Adventure Y and keeping everything under wraps, or something's not quite right.

The were working on at least one new project, probably two, last I heard. I think they were planning on Icewind Dale EE and an original project (whether or not it was the pitch for BG3 I'm not sure).

What are you talking about? It's just taking too long for the patch to come out, but the time is near.

I think the PC versions contain them already. They are only actual DLC for the iPad.

Doubtful. There's never been any plan for a "final" patch.
They wanted to share one engine between both games (and any future game using this engine) so they could roll back any improvement made for future games.
This means that as they keep working on the current games, on updates for the current game (including any potential new character or adventure) and new games with this engine, they'll keep releasing patches for the previous games.
This is why the BG:EE got a new patch with various features from BG2:EE.
And now they've announced they're working on Icewind Dale. This means another game with the Infinity Engine.
It's unlikely this is the last patch they've released for BG:EE.

The Beamdog companions are paid DLC on the mobile versions, included in the PC version. Guess that only matters if you are paying for it.

That's shitty.. I could complete that, but that was before 1.3.
Fixing something can break something that worked previously.. patching is kind of an endless loop because of this, it's not something that is ever finished..

Pretty much anything can be solved with savegame variable editing with Shadowkeeper, just post on the forum and they will help you out.
But yeah, Infinity engine is a clusterfuck.

have a question about bastard swords, when i equip one how do i choose for the char to use it as 1h or 2h....its set auto depending if the other hand is free or not or how?
