20 shots x 25ml.

That's about half of liter of Vodka. I somehow doubt, someone with 25yr old body was able to not pass out at some point, AND who drank vodka for the first time.

I speak from experience, even 0,5L will fuck me up pretty good.

I agree, 20 shots should fuck you up for the night especially if it's the first time you're getting drunk. Personally, I don't believe him. Now if it's 20 x 50 ml shots then that's absolutely ludicrous.

Well, if you are doing it over a long enough period of time, especially at a dinner table with plenty of food to eat, it's doable. I have done something similar even without any nasty "the morning after" effects. But that wasn't my first time - you could say I was at the peak of my alcohol consumption abilities Very Happy

These days, I rarely drink anything heavy, so I feel the effects just after a few shots. It doesn't take much for the mornings to become quite crappy either. So for a first-timer it seems a tad too much.

There is still time for the consequences though - in my (bad) experiences, they should have made themselves known about an hour ago. We need progress reports Very Happy

wow, first alc with 25 Surprised

i was 13, and we were 4 guys with each a bottle of vodka - which we actually drunk. i remember crawling on my knees on the street and some messy embarrassing incident at mcdonalds. ive never managed to get that drunk again, and believe me... it tried! Very Happy

I am not sure how that works. Back then I would not tell my parents I was going out to get shitfaced, and even if they would have set some limits, those are the first things to go when you are drinking in a company of people. The only limits by which you abide are your own (if you have enough sense to do that Very Happy) and you can only find those out yourself.
The only important thing after that is to be able to make it to your room on your own two feet in straight enough line or without collapsing in the hallway Very Happy

why would I ? Mythbusters said that it's a myth and You can't learn drinking or rather can't change how it affects You. I am just a big over 100kg man, so maybe this helped
for me it was an experiment. I drank together with others to the end (those who have not passed out) of the party. The effect of drinking was really weird. Hard to walk straight etc. But didn't had much problem thinking. More problems of just staying focused, not sleeping and controlling Your body. Funny thing was that I was writing a message or SMS on the phone and totally forgot to finish it or send it Laughing
oh btw. We had a aaa loooot of food.

i woke up early in the morning feeling dizzy and just had to the bathroom. After that I've slept for another 5 hours and now i feel normal.

the shots were 30ml and we drank mostly Russian vodka which the homeowner brought from his trip to Russia. But polish vodka too. I lost my count at about 16 shots but we drank few more from yet another bottle.

I don't know why people do this. It'sstupid , feels bad and can cause vomit etc. I never drank before and no I at least know that I am not loosing out on anything great. Just as I always thought

Okay, I was 14 when I went to the hospital (half a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka and other crap, then I puked on this guys new expensive black leather sofa, was thrown in the bathtub and sprayed with cold water in hopes to wake me up but I was completely gone.. Since he and the others were leaving for town (they were 17-25) he didn't want me puking all over his apartment so they put me on a bench outside in soaking wet clothes with alcohol poisoning.

Did I mention it was late November with 5 below freezing? If an elderly couple hadn't passed by, noticed me and called the ambulance I wouldn't be here. I only remember a few fragments.. When they removed my frozen clothes (with puke on it).. Then a sobbing mom next to the hospital bed.. Then waking up with the entire world spinning (1.5 days later, in the middle of the night) and I had no idea where I was, it was dark as hell, I had to lean against a wall while walking around like a zombie in the dark halls until I found a toilet, then I had to use the other wall to get back and crawl on the floor and pull myself up to the bed... world spinning.

Never got close to die after that (when it comes to alcohol anyway), I do remember waking up in a sandbank on the beach fully clothed but with sand everywhere, my asscrack, groin, armpits etc., no wallet etc.. so I had 15km to walk home, with the worst hangover in history, in extreme sun and 28 degrees, no money, no water...

The secret is moderation. There's a learning curve when you've hit the peak and esp. when to stop but it's nice to get buzzed while on a live rock/metal gig or similar. I haven't been piss-drunk in 10+ years, it's totally useless. The world shouldn't spin, you shouldn't have difficulties speaking, you should be able to walk fairly straight (although a little wobble is okay), warm and nice cheeks and an overall nice feeling of well being is what you should aim for. When you reach that, slow down the amount. And stay away from Vodka crap, that's for silly kids that race to become drunk.

Well this was the first time, but for a few years I always just bought some beers from them. It was cheaper and they had an idea of how much I drank. They only told to try and stay safe. Heh it quite fun thinking back on it.They always laughed at me when I tried buying to many beers from them Very Happy.

Those polish and russians always cheating with food and only drinking vodka. Do it the German way.
Start with beer, drink a shot of your favorite drink i.e. Jägermeister, Tequila, Schnaps or some of that ubersweet stuff for women where you hardly taste any alcohol at all. Share it with others the next round. Stop with the beer and start with mixed drinks i.e. whiskey-coke, bourbon-sprite, Schnaps-Fanta, Havanna-coke or whatever your favorite is. In between drink any shot that any of your friends is offering you. Continue with mixed drinks and do not dare to eat anything - mental black out.

Wake up totally wasted and wonder how you got home.

Any normal person would be drunk after just a few shots their first time drinking. After 600ml (a normal sized bottle is 750ml) you should be either doing all sorts of completely crazy shit or passed out on the floor. I used to drink up to a 750ml bottle on a Friday night, when I was younger, over about 6 hours. I would regularly be passed out on the floor.
