They already cut out so much shit since they first announced at the Blizzcon last year. Specifically with Garrisons but list is quite long.

Those might be minor things but honestly, but they do eventually add up
http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1543050-quot-Promised-content-quot
A lot of the stuff is probably minor but things start to add up.
Most notably is Garrisons are only in one zone and no faction cities as well.
Not cut, but they delayed Heirloom tab, no wonder on Tabard Tab at all. I bet it's not coming ever anyway.
I don't know, it just feels like they are rushing for a September release.

Yeah reason why it got me interested, seems un-Blizz like. Stopped playing just after I got cataclysm. But still I wonder how they are doing now and then.
Will not come back tho, the game I once played is no more and I realized we went different paths.
And pooha, just read it and wth have they become over the past years... That's quite crap compared to the past.

Garrisons sounds a fucking fantastic feature honestly. They are the only reason that I am still remotely interested in WoD.
It sucked when they announced that we can no longer put them in any zone and can't rename any followers. I just hope they won't do any more damage to them...
I'm sure they are targeting sadly for the September release, which is quite sad. Since we gonna get half ass product.

WoW is just a piggybank for Blizzard now, a (stable) source of income. Something to fall back on if other things (like HoTS seems to go towards) fails...
I'm sure their top men are already on their other MMO project and this is being handled by a secondary team (sure sure they claim otherwise, but you can't fool me).

Well seeing they scrapped the whole thing not so long ago to start over again, that will be another 3 to 4 years to surface it. Not that they don't have time, they still have a large following and I don't see that change fast.

Maybe they saw that WoW didn't make a harsh decline in users as they expected(?) and wanted to milk it longer? So they just say the other was scratched so people wouldn't anticipate the new one and still keep playing WoW instead of deciding to just wait for the new one?

Nah they saw certain trends in the MMO market shift, new ones getting announced and then they changed their vision. It's not completely scrapped, they just weren't feeling it with what they had and wanted to re-design it.
It's still Blizzard, they take whats best from the rest and make it their own. And I don't find that a bad thing at all.
I have a feeling that the rise in Sandbox popularity and EQ Next/landmark have/had a big influence on it.

Anyone who plays WoW knows Bliizz takes forever to make a game. No one was expecting Titan to come any time soon. I doubt people would actually quit WoW and wait 4+ years for Titan. Now that they are re-designing it as of last year, I don't think we'll see anything from it for another 2 years. That is assuming they won't scrap the IP and make WoW 2 instead.

Doesn't take a genius to know that's all bullshit, if you are little to not informed at all, you've been trolled.
Let's take a look at the list.
-Black Temple and Frostwolf keep no longer hub cities, just quest locations you visit once.
-New faction cities are copy pastes of the 4.1 krasarang wilds faction bases in ashran, an island in bumfuck nowhere
== Just because it used an older building architecture and layout in the very first build it went up, I have no idea how the hell people imagined it looked just the same as the one in Krasarang. The latest build had the Horde one updated and it's literally amazing while being completely NEW.
== Your garrison will end up being bigger than Shrine of <whateverfactionyouare> and you will spend more time there than in any useless faction city where you only go to use the Auction House ( which will be shared between factions btw ) and use your banks, or level your professions.
-Garrisons only in one zone now, no longer customization, no longer lets you name npcs, no longer has skill boosts, is just a daily quest hub phased to you.
== True, False, True ( mainly thanks to making it a part of the PvE experience in WoD ), False as shit, very false as shit, lol a daily hub, this one had me good.
-average class goes from 40 spells to 7
==I don't even know how one's math is so off...
== This moron actually counted the passives as spells, it's actually like 40->27 because they streamlined passives into the active abilities.
-no new skeletons or animations, literally every creature in the expansion is a remodelled creature.
== Just a handful of NPC's are still not updated in the world, but everything else is brand spanking new.
-portions of entire zones are copy pasted from the BC devset
== No.
-the rest are not flying compatible and have 2d jpg mountains -now you know why shamans had far sight and hunters had eagle vision removed.
== We still have Far Sight and Eagle Vision, and just no lol, mountains are the shieeet.
-now only 4 dungeons from level 90-100
== 8 actually, counting is hard.
-client code for garrison cash shop functionality discovered, quickly removed along with tweet mentioning it from cory stockton
== This never happened.
-less raid content at launch than any expansion
== A tier of 17 bosses, with a tri-difficulty curve, more like the most raid content at launch.
-less dungeons than cataclysm had in PATCHES
== Counting, still hard.
-story is a barely canon side timeline alternate dimension just to give another enemy to fight while trying to lure in veterans with nostalgia and a 'veterans first!" beta access program
==Obvious troll is obvious, also butthurt.
== Not to spoiler anything, but the story is just....well, you have to do it yourself.
-almost all CC removed in pvp. totally removed in pve
== Herp Derp, somewhat true for PVP so you don't die in a stunlock anymore, totally false for PVE.
-adding healing and tanking npcs in quests
== Wat ? No ?
-Heirloom and tabard storage tab just cut until "later"
== It was never meant to be in at launch but ok
-replacing quests with "dynamic, interactive world experiences" that appear once and when you do them disappear leaving huge swathes of zones empty.
== Someone can't differentiate between questing and hunting down rares.
-new models have a single face and the cosmetic choices in almost every model but undead simply adds a new texture to said single face.
== This was already fixed...as they said they will fix
I got into the beta in the first EU wave, been rocking it since whether I am preparing my addon suites or just raid testing.
Thus far it's quite awesome, I especially love the new responsiveness of the game, it's miles ahead in that area.
If you'd have any questions about the beta or anything, just drop a PM, may not see this thread all that often.
Some men just wanna watch the world burn.
Eee by-by gum.

I was one of the lucky ones who had UBRS key. It was not fun spamming for 3 hrs for someone who could open the door.

10 months without new content.. I'm surprised it's even that high. Addiction runs deep it seems.

Doesn't sound too bad, they were talking of those numbers when I quit (2 years or even more I think)
Willing to bet all other MMO's would sign for those numbers

Why? MC was never in vanilla WoW
And Pooha 10 years, that means me and my fiancee know each other for 9,5 years (Gotta love that you can reference a game on that )

Lol, from where in that link did you get that from?
First of all, getting 40 people to do a raid was a pain in the ass in it's self (now you have raid-finder which removes that problem). And you'd always find at least 2-5 derps who didn't understand "don't stand in the fire" or what to do but with 40 good players they could carry those 2-5 who were derps.
Second, the dungeons from WotLK did get severely easier to appeal to a broader audience who would otherwise never see end-game raiding. This was not really a problem for me since I was always more interested in PvP and just found it good since I could do them with randoms. But still you'd find a derp who absolutely didn't do what they were supposed to for example play their class (seldom but it still happened).

They are turning MC into 40 man LFR for the duration of the event so people can experience how "hard and complex" the fights were.

Well, I have no idea how the dungeons and raids are now but shortly prior to when WotLK came out the raids became laughably easy.
So it depends on how true they stay to MC when I did it because some of the bosses took forever to take down (a lot of it had to do with gear of course) and when you did it actually felt like a really nice group achievement. ^_^

Not that I think current raids are harder but they require quicker reaction time. And everything pretty much one shots you if you are not quick enough to move.
I raided with 58 year old dude and he would pretty much wipe us every time in Throne of Thunder. Game is much less forgiving on that part, which I hate since one shot mechanic is the most stupidiest thing they added to the game.
