As long as they pose it as actual gameplay they deserve critisism for not showing the actual gaming experience but something staged, far removed from the actual experience of the average gamer logging into the game.

That's cool and all, and again, it's not what was in discussion at all

Oh noes, they're really the first people to do this in gaming history, fooling us with fake footage and 'trailers'!!

Just because it's been done before doesn't mean people can't continue to call it out.
For example, this probably won't be the last time you call out someone who calls it out.
It looks good, we get it. Emphasis on: "It looks (short-pause), good? (added question mark)". They've sat on it for a year more since last year and still nobody on the floor or elsewhere gets to fucking touch it first-hand while they have the 18 months old Rainbow Six: Siege playable demo hands-on yeah, that fucking makes a whole lot of sense. Something's definitely up with that shit.
It radiates confidence in your own game making abilities when you can't let anyone touch a game you showed at the previous E3 show, posing a trailer as footage from actual gameplay with actors voicing actual players for the second time.

The Co-Op experience versus the environment is instanced out, so you won't encounter other players roaming around. You can see other players and interact with them at specific Social Hubs (like the agents' HQ or some shit), and also in the open PvP areas/Danger Zones.
Can you play it alone as a singleplayer experience? Yes. You can, as when you're roaming alone, you won't encounter any other players except the ones you invite/let into your instanced experience. Will the game scale according to how many players are actually in your instance? I have no idea, but I'd assume so.
The video looked good IMHO, though I wish they showed a bit more about the ECHO tool and its functions; how it collects data and renders those frozen scenes and how that actually ties into quests/side missions.
Also would be interesting to know more about captured base of operations: the trailer showed that the armoury was online but med centre etc was not, so what happens if you get all of these operational? Can you recruit civilians to guard locations or send them on missions like AC: Brotherhood?
Visuals have been the most important since forever. 60fps is a bad business decision on consoles so I have no idea why anyone would expect it.
If you have a favorite console game that runs at 60fps today, expect the sequel to run at 30fps. The longer a console is out the more outdated the hardware gets and the more visuals developers need to squeeze out to make their game sell enough.
I would also advise anyone who thinks 30FPS is enough to play Ground Zeroes on PS4. That game feels fucking amazing for a console title, and it looks great. 1080p + 60FPS without dips. Konami did it pretty well with MGS4 too, again, even in the early days of a new console.
ground zeroes on ps4 is amazing yes, but mgs4 ran horribly, the average framerate was somewhere around 27 and it had frequent dips to 20-21.
the fact that mgs4 ran so badly makes ground zeroes' 60 fps even more impressive.
