I had to go to court today as Im a witness in a very serious sexual assault case.
I get up, get all dressed up, make my way down to the court house....only to be told like and an hour and half after i arrived that the trial has been postponed to November and the officer in charge of the case should have made me aware of this and given me a new supenia...so anyway, I leave and come home. What do I find at my door? A NEW FUCKIN supena....and when did the cop drop it off? 9:30am...the time had to be at court...not to mention while i was at the court, myself and the plantiff couldnt figure out where we had to go as Information told us one thing, the crown told us another and the cops told use another....stupid fuckin legal system, and its for something serious ya know? Not like a traffic violation or anything. The defendant could do 5 years (because of my testimony) and shit. U'd think the courts would take this case far more serious...but alas, thats the Canadian Justice System for ya...not to mention I also got into a verbal arguement with the Crown and a Judge. Fuckin ppl cant answer simple questions, yet im paying their salary (through taxes right)...fuckin idiots, now i have to waste another day going to court in November...and I dont even get money for it cuz Im in the same city as the court house thus I dont get mileage and shit.....

naw man, I would have jumped in and stopped it.
I used to work at this metal shop and we had a chick welder that worked in there. She's fuckin really hot too - she kinda looks like J-Lo.
Anyway, i guess her and the supervisior (my partner, i was the other supervisior) worked on a Sunday or something, along with a few other guys. Anyway, i come in monday (i usually get in like 30 mins early so I set up my day) and I see her sittin in the lunch room, having a smoke, shaking and crying...So i ask what the deal is right? She tells me all this shit about how the guy tried to lock her in the shop and felt her up, stuck his hand down her pants etc and she was scared to work with him.
Anyway, no one saw it go down but she was visibly upset alot. So she went to the cops and the cops asked her to get me to come in and give my statement as I was the closest thing to an eye witness.
Long story short, this thing has been going on for almost 2 years, and Ive been to court numerous times and the shit keeps gettin delayed...its really pissing me off.
It better not get delayed again or im gunna flip - plus i was originally told by the cop handling the case that I wouldnt have to go court. I made it clear that I didnt want to be involved in any court situation and i was asured i wouldnt be...fuckin lying ass cop...

Uh no? The officer in charge of the case should have informed me prior to today and told me of the change of date. Thats what the cop at the court house told me and the plantiff...neither of us were informed.
Either which way, annoying experience to say the least. Hobbling my ass all over town for nothing, and now i gotta do it again...sucks  What's next, jury duty? |
