So any chance of this getting cracked properly ? Or do they need to wait for release date to get the saving working?

Asking cause i haven't been paying attention to what has been happening in the last hours so ... kinda clueless here.

Troll Dad

Funnily enough, back in the PS1 hayday, my brother bought Ridge Racer Revolution and played through that, unlocking every track and every car - including Devil/Angel - but he didn't have a memory card, so he kept his PS1 turned on for MONTHS Very Happy

I assume it wouldn't be too difficult for the person whom did this "loader" to update it with the data required or specific to Watch_Dogs so that saving works. Smile

Similarly it can likely be adapted to get DLC functionality available but both of those might require someone with the legit version sharing data though that's just a guess, I'm unsure how it works.

How are the keyboard controls?

Can you jump?

etc etc

Can't jump as far as I know, controls feel similar to Assassins Creed IV and driving works but it's very arcade oriented though I suck at it even so. Razz
(Gamepad is likely recommended.)

(Context sensitive actions as well such as holding space to free run or using it to scale and climb or mantle objects.)

I don't think there were any black bars - my screens on the previous page does not display anything like that either -, aspect ratio has several settings from automatic to 4:3, 5:4, 16:9, 16:10 and 21:9 so you should be set. Smile

0% indeed.

Also, there's someone claiming that saves *are* working on the Steam006 emulator, but who knows?

Won't happen or at least I doubt they'll change anything since it's just barely a week left anyway and it would piss of retailers and other sources and mess with their schedule and such.
(Some stores will of course break street date anyhow and have already done so - all for some extra profit I suppose - but I don't think that changes anything.)

Nope, that likely comes from Skidrow-Crack and that's a BS site that repacks FTS/3DM/P2P releases and has noobs calling them "Skidrow" Very Happy

That's what I used as well, didn't try saving or quitting and continuing so maybe it works or maybe it's lost when you fully exit the game?

Hm come to think of it, i really hope it's not that CPU intensive cause it's going to be even worse for me with additional view on the sides (more objects to load etc) for my shitty i5 2400 Sad

Oh nice then I'll just change waiting for continuing the game until it's released to waiting until AMD releases new drivers, so I guess I'll play it in a month or two, maybe. Razz

Or they'll rush and release a hotfix/beta for this and Rage though I don't think it will be that quick depending on how involved they were during development if at all, it'll be resolved eventually but there might be complications as with some Nvidia users when it comes to AMD games such as Rome or Far Cry 3 though it varies from game to game but I really dislike it even so though it does mean the PC version gets a bit more "love" or how to say.
(At the cost of their main rival, AMD messing with Nvidia and Nvidia messing with AMD though it's not like they outright sabotage for one another either, I guess, and DirectX 11 is a bit more structured than OpenGL from what I know.)

Mid-2015 would be ideal I suppose, many big titles being released around then and both AMD and Nvidia should have gone to 20nm GPU's though it might be first-generation ones, Intel and AMD should also have more to show on the CPU side and motherboard side plus the introduction of DDR4 and a few other things.

so hai guise, what do you think it will perform like on an ancient i7 920 + hd4870
 Spoiler:

, or basically, what setting could i play it on to still reach 60 fps, very low or impossibly low?

btw the most recent games i played (dark souls 2 and lords of shadow 2) both ran in consistent 60 fps at high settings, but these arent really comparable.

You are going to have to cut texture quality to low or maybe medium with that VRAM amount, CPU I guess a quad core would be good but it could perhaps work on a dual core as well though you'll likely have to turn down a few things.
(You need 64-bit OS - which won't be a issue - and DX10 I believe, possibly DX11.0 though I am not 100% on that.)

I'd guess that the multi threading is to accommodate and brute force PS4/XBOne code, so an upgrade will hopefully be good for a few years.

Don't quote me though; speculation ftw.

Well I gave it a try and resuming the game works so it should at least preserve checkpoint saves. Smile

EDIT: Changing MSAA 2x to SMAA 2xT (Or Temporal SMAA) also solved the corruption issue. Very Happy
(But it's a bit more blurry instead.)

Saw this post relating to your cpu on neogaf (the gpu is pretty old tho so no idea how it will work):

Quote:
For those wondering about PC performance it seems ok, get 30-50 fps driving about and 60+ indoors, running an i7 920 OC to 3.8, 10 GB of ram and 7970 6GB GHZ edition. These are my ingame settings
