Well the thing is, you can't run while using the aim button so it would have been nice to be able to shoot while running. Maybe try to scatter civilians while trying to escape in order to clear the way/create a diversion in order to escape in the panicked mob or being able to chase and shoot a running target, even if technically it's not really accurate.

In the end I can probably live without that. I was just trying to recall the points zibs made in his post. Smile

shooting from the hip is very useful in situations where an enemy pops up right in front of you, no time for aiming and no need.

Don't be rude. Don't be obnoxious. Your aggressive behavior accomplishes nothing, you know that. I am a kind man, and I forgive you. You've quite obviously lost your way and I find that to be sad. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Stop derailing this thread, fearwhatnow. You're trying to be funny. I understand that, but seriously, stop it. Here we all are talking biz on-topic and then this happens. Sometimes you need to take a few steps back and think: Am I contributing to the ongoing discussion with this post? If the answer is No, then you should probably not post it.

Ok EBS. Let us all pray for Neon's and Ubisoft's salvation. They both deserve a second chance.

Such systems sound great on paper, but usually work like shit in games. It'll be a typical, simple bad/good guy system.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

They show you a trailer of what is basically out-dated graphics in 2014 + terrible car physics (look at the lambo jumping the bridge), within a package that can be defined as a lesser version of GTA, with some crazy-world Saints Row modes like killing innocent Chicago cops controlling a large spider droid like a fucking coward, and a bunch of singleplayer mini-games like playing cards and chess with a bunch of old guys, an doodelidoo mp3 player on your virtual phone, a basic multiplayer team deatchmatch mode presented under a different name and you go all weak and susceptible for money milkage.

I can't wait to "stop generic convoys from reaching their destination" mini-game. So mindbogglingly awesome that they put it in their trailer as a key feature.

How many times have they showed that one takedown melee move with the nightstick? My god.

This is the reason why we rarely get any good games. Because developers don't have to make an effort to sell video games. Nobody expects anything and accepts everything.

Ubisoft lied to build a community around their game, promising a huge, lovely rendered open world, and we get this shitty amateur gta/saints row wannabe clone teasing players about how shallow their actual game is, so they focus the attention over on mini-games and activities instead.

Why do games always fall short? Some games really do have potential, and some even have good stories, others have nice concepts for new and innovative features, but they hardly ever seem to survive the trip over to us gamers.

There is absolutely nothing open world about walking in some "hacker's" shoes. He's got a name. He's got a past. He's got pre-picked friends, he's got pre-picked enemies. His destiny is sealed. There is nothing we can do but to jump the hoops throughout a more or less linear story, watch the cut-scenes and see the game go "THE END": DO YOU WANNA BE THE SPIDER ROBOT AGAIN NOW? OR MAYBE PLAY CARDS WITH OLD GUYS? OR DEATHMATCH WITH 12 YEAR OLDS IN MULTIPLAYER?

No open world game offers true freedom. I hope this is good to play though, I've got a boner for this kind of game.
