|
 |
I'm actually using a nice Stereo Speakers from Logitech but i've noticed that with most of the 720/1080p movies i've watched, with Windows 7's volume at 100, requires the speakers to turn up the volume even more than normal.
I've been thinking of upgrading my either speakers to a 5.1 speakers or to a Headset. Been looking at the Logitech stuff and there's only the Z506 for 75,02€ or the G35 (or any 5.1 headset from the company) for 105€ (prices from the shop i normally buy hardware from)
The thing is... will i be still forced to turn up the volume higher than normal from the 5.1 speakers to hear everything from the movies better?.. or could there be something else to do?..i know i might be asking impossibles or something but dunno.. Perhaps it's the movies' Audio Format ( AC3 stuff or something)
On the other hand, the headset's also nice and it's 7.1 , but my room is a bit big but the placement of things are...weird (32" TV's at the left side of my desktop,PC at the right side next to a big book shelves...and the center has the PS3/4 on it. (This,tough the TV's border doesn't touches the window,giving more space for the consoles) , i wouldn't know where to put so many speakers just for the PC or it's PS3 (PS4 too?) audio functions.
This is how the room looks like
Any tips?
Thanks in advance

For the money you can't beat some nice headphones. AKG Q701's are only $200 and you'd need a hell of a stereo system to beat them. Most of AKG's higher end studio headphones come with a 15 foot long cable as long so distance to the audio source shouldn't be an issue.
Don't even bother with a computer oriented 5.1 system. Shit is shit.

...i don't need such a LONG cable @w@; i don't even separate much from the PC except to pet my cat at my left side <<;
And we don't have AKG in spain, check page 4 at the bottom right of this price sheet, "Auriculars Gamer" http://www.lifeinformatica.com/componentes.pdf
No other choice since i can't buy from newegg

Besides, i had bad experiences with 3.5 Jack cables not working on the front panel (maybe it's a bad position on the motherboard cables) and USB never gave me trouble
Again, are the G35 worth over the Z9 ones?..if so or something, give me a reason
