I assume you mean it looks like doom 3, and it does, because it's the same engine.. however, i understand the gameplay is completely different.. this isn't a game spent in dark corridors...

ok, I will give it a try then, the doom engne wasn't bad however the overdid it with the bumpmapping, it didn't look realistic anymore IMHO
I hope this game goes back to quake 1, that's the only quake i really loved

It's funny to see how things have been kept more "confidential" about this game. It has the same release date than F.E.A.R but they are less reviews already done by the traditional sites. And last but not least, the game hasn't been leaked before the official release date (in contrary of another one FPS that e-retailers have prematurely distributed )
In conclusion, it is not always a good thing for a publisher to hype a game and i think that Activision has well understood it instead of VUG...
