But it's a bit of a weird choice by arronofsky... maybe it was in the deal that he got with the wrestler or with black swan? Confused

Aronofsky is officialy now on self-destruction mode. The same applies for Handel.

Don't care for the movie but that is one badass poster. Laughing

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I'd be tempted to watch this because Aronofsky, but the subject is so ridiculous that I can't see a way to make it look interesting without playing the Truman Show card xD

The only time I get anything out of a movie using biblical mythos is when it's in horror movies (The Prophecy-series), tv-series like Supernatural, ie. Angels, fallen Angels, Nephilims, demons, lucifer/morningstar/devil/satan, all that. If a movie is pro-abrahamic it's anti-Frant.

I think a big problem this film has is that neither religious people like it nor non-religious. It has no clear target audience...

Pretty much cliche movie and emotion manipulation,However, the idea of exploring the concept of "Good and Evil" and the Stones Angels story and effects are the more interesting/enjoyable aspect of the movie, the thing is,you agree more with the main antagonist then the main character Laughing,so it's more of 7/10 for me

Do you guys just not like the fantasy genre in general or is it just because this is a story from the bible?

for me,I actually enjoy Bibles Stories/Art,I really think there is more deeper meaning then "blindly follow god" as some form of stereotype people like to make from it.

Eh? It is just a bad fantasy movie. For example, I think The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston is great. But this... No, I don't like the bad fantasy genre, that's for sure.

Yeah, it's the same for me too. I wouldn't mind a "realistic" take on a different fantasy event narrated in the bible, but for me this one is just plain nonsensical and I really cannot take it seriously when the movie has such a serious and "epic" tone Razz

This Noah stuff is bad for comedy too, Evan Almighty proved it Laughing Cool Face
