What's your personal preference, guys?

Do you want to be able to keep track of other apps running in background while playing, or do you prefer exclusive and undisturbed experience with your game?

I always use Fullscreen mode. Very Happy

With one hand! Poker Face

Serious: I'd say 90% of the time Fullscreen and the other times it can be windowed/borderless window, but those moments are never serious gaming... more half assed/casual gaming.

Borderless. Love the seamless alt-tabbing, it's supported in almost every game now (and for those where it's not, there are third-party utilities), and I'm yet to see it have any noticeable impact on fps.

This, when you got multiple monitors ALT-Tabbing when in fullscreen is a real pain.

Also who the hell answered "Normal window" ???

Always fullscreen, sennhesiers on, curtains and all doors to the man cave closed. Nothing needs monitoring on my pc. PC Master Race

Only time i even take the headphones off is when i'm playing an indie rogue like with music, or a racing/fighting game, something where in game sounds are irrelevant to the game experience.

I'm yet to see it NOT HAVE noticeable impact on the framerate, which is why I don't use it. So yeah, fullscreen all day, every day.

Windowed on the low-specs laptop when playing games like Prison Architect, Talisman etc.
