Good shit. Kies doesn't back up my messages. "Stopped loading GT-1900 messages" something.
Can't remember the last time a backup and restore just simply worked without any problems.

SMS backup by some indian guy. Just creates a zip that you can store away. Then after resetting your phone download the app again and load the zip to restore your sms.

Managed to do a full backup with kies 2.6 which i had to download from somewhere else. Samsung fucking sucks.

Service menu YOURPHONEMODEL android - google this, there are some network setting which u can tweak, that will save a battery a bit as well as increase reception
