Don't they use the same pricing as Steam store? So it means that it's 11$ on Steam too?

Broken Age is on sale on Steam with -33% off.
Madness. The game was just released a month ago and already on sale. Is it really selling that bad?

They fucked up by releasing it in two parts - the game's too short to warrant that. I'm not surprised it's not selling since no-one wants to buy an adventure game in parts with a cliff hanger in the middle. Broken Sword got bad marks for that as well and for good reason - I'm not even touching it until the second part gets released.
And I STILL think Broken Age dropped the ball. Puzzles too easy, the game's art style is too whimsical, environments are much too sparse with a lack of interesting stuff to examine, etc.
Double Fine forgot that many adventure gamers loved immersion which meant having lots of stuff to look at and interact with. Half the fun in the old games, was trying all sorts of verbs on items and seeing the funny response you'd get. They stripped EVERYTHING from this game and replaced it with "look" and "use" and then only on a handful of objects.
So yeah, my initial misgivings have been justified - this is a poor adventure for a seasoned gamer. Good for new comers but it's NOT Lucas Art quality. I guarantee you, was this released 20 years ago, it would have gotten 60-70% tops as a score.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Or, in the UK, £39.99, £3 cashback or £5 credit.
Wtf? I can just about understand the £1=$1 price - taxes and blah blah - but £3 is not $10. Wankers. GMG just seem to be losing it, especially now most of the voucher codes are "X% off only if you spend over a certain amount".
