it's not about guessing and who is and then blah blah blah...
i'm having an lengthy conversation about an actor, or a place, or a restaurant, or something... and then go on my smart phone, or my macbook, or even my pc... and just put in one letter of the subject i'm about to search for... and it's there... first thing.
sweird. it's awesome. but it's weird. google is real good

Google is timeless and knows everything about you before you realize it yourself!

popular trends
many people searched the thing you search
and it's matching your entry with the trends currently most popular and match partially your query
in one word: SKYNET

that sounds plausible... but most of the current conversations I have with friends and colleagues are based on classic movies and such. popular trends I have to usually write more than 3 letters.
But I like that. Google is on top of everything.

that + the big big file they have on you and everything you've ever done online. Even the things you wrote but deleted before pressing enter/sending.

Nice. I like this. There needs to be more like this out there. Convenience has a cost and I'll gladly pay for it

and classic movies aren't popular?
and there aren't like a million people looking up that movie, or the actors in it?

it may be true. with hipsters mocking about with pop cultures. taking over classic black and white movies. at least they're getting to know some of the culture.
but a whole search string based on one beginning letter. exact search string i was going to type. that's some nice shit. less typing. i like it.

Maybe it's time to really think about it?
How does it know what you're about to search? Why same search parameters gives different results for different users/computers?

I like that little feature: when I google a place and then open my smartphone it already shows the route to it |
my iphone does that too I love that shit. Shit like this is epic. Then we have these whiny idiots screaming privacy privacy... that is why we can't have nice things. so many technological steps forward we all could take, instead we have children lobbying every step closer we get to the future. it's like... fuck off
@Frant everyone is mainstream. there are so many different groups of people, so many different ideas shared by so many different people. everything has become mainstream to a point. I don't mind being part of the mainstream crowd.

Sometimes you should search for completely random things and click on some completely random link on the 26th page of your results.
Just to prove google wrong.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

funny joke on topic
recently google bought a company that is specialized in AI
and also recently, a google dev said that sometimes they have no idea how their servers are working
