I have to note that the 2311 is the better one when compared to the 2312, so *if* you can still find that (there's some shops with old stock), go for it
I would've put Dell's 2412 on the list, but when you go up in that price range the FS2333 is much better. It's an inch less, but a better monitor overall
well "available on command" which can really mean anything, probably 4-8 weeks wait or something lol. Might gonna send them an email asking. But i don't expect them to answer "truthfully" lol. So many times i've heard "in a couple days" and then it became weeks or even months ^^.

The QNIX ones (and the other Korean el-cheapo of this range) you need to order from Amazon. They're IPS too (so image quality is good) and they can be "overclocked" to run at 100+ Hz. It's a bit of a gamble though as you get no pixel guarantee, it's an inferior quality panel and obviously warranty's a bit of a problem. Most annoyingly though, most of these come with just 1 input (DVI-DL) and lack an OSD entirely

What about that Eizo 144Mhz 23.x inch screen then that was released a while back?
(VN instead of TN so that should be better or maybe it was called VA, I don't remember exactly, not IPS based though.)
Then again Eizo tends to carry a price premium though they also tend to be very good.
(This one wasn't that expensive though but it's a bit smaller as well.)
EDIT: Dell should be good of course, I've been looking at that 3014 one as a upgrade for when I have enough money left over, above 27 or maybe even 24 there's a pretty steep price increase though.

Thats why I say You should NOT go with u24. Its not led backlight and its 16:10 which is actually worse imo.
I intentionally went with 16:9 u23 because everything is 16:9 nowadays. You would save Yourself a lot of black bars trouble by not going 16:10.
and u23 have better responses and almost no ghosting. Its among best ips for games

It's a great monitor, except:
- 120, not 144
- Hz, instead of MHz
- VA not VN
But yeah, it is quite pricey, relatively speaking - expect to pay around 500€ for it...
It's passive 3D, so not Nvidia 3D thingy if gaming is what you are aiming at. In that case you will have to use 3rd party solutions to "convert" games to 3D or use the monitor's own built-in functions. Passive also runs at a lower resolution, but I am not sure how it will work out in games.
Perhaps it's also possible to somehow make Nvidia's solution work with it, but I don't know much about that.
Should be great for movies, if you are interested in that.
