To me this is a strange list since KFC. Pizza Hut or Subway doesn't really fit with Mickey Dee's or Burger King. KFC is for chicken and the only other real choice around here is Popeyes, both good and got my vote. Pizza Hut is for a fast-pizza crave but I would never go there. There are other equally cheap alternatives around here like Dominos and Little Caesars which to me are better. Subway is not bad, but if I need a sub from a fast food joint I would go to Jimmy John's. This leaves the fast burger joins. McDonalds I don't like. Once a year I'll go there to remind myself they have nothing for me. Burger King is meh. I would go to Wendy's or better yet Hardee's. My favorite fast food joint which I visit weekly and is not on the list is Taco Bell.

tl;dr I've been eating too much fast food in the past year.

Is this topic about what fast food is comparable, or where you go if you got cravings for any type of fast food?

Thta's probably good. In this fantastic country we only have a billion brands which sell "chicken" or "beef" and no variations of it. Boring to say the least.

I have a completely irrational craving for MCDs Cheeseburgers from time to time.

BK is a little better though.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I think its worth noting that each restaurant differs greatly even in the same branch. I've had great burgers at Burger King, just not the ones that are around here.

Too bad, I think you are missing out. Hardee's and Wendy's are the shit when done right.

The sad thing is that most people end up buying lots of McDonalds cheesebugers because they are so cheap Laughing
10kr in Norway, Sweden and Denmark Wink In Norway, that makes 5 burgers the same price as one of the cheapest burgers you get other places.

Max. (swedish burger chain that knocks the socks off McD and BK as far as food quality is concerned)

Otherwise I'd order from the best thai-takewaway in town.

http://www.maxburgers.com/max/
(it's in English, apparently Max has spread to Norway and Denmark. I hope it spreads to the rest of you poor souls that have to eat floppy tasteless cardboard burgers.) Wink

Yeah, Max is awesome. Whenever im in Sweden to stock up on less expensive food, beer etc. we always stop to eat at Max before driving home Smile Afaik there are only 2 Max in Norway, one of them is like a 45min drive from here... but I don't want to drive that far for a burger only :/

That's interesting. In states McDonalds is the most expensive. The cheapest burger or chicken sandwich on the "dollar menu" is $2, while you can get something similar for a $1 at other fast food joints.

@Frant Don't you even try to say anything else outside of the options given or you will have the local topic police after you.
