There is a methane gas like smell coming form the sink. How do I get rid of it?

try using something like Plumbo which is like acid to crap in your sink and effectively cleans it.

Methane is odorless... If you're thinking of fart-like smell then it's sulfur.

I'm not sure if they smell additives they put into methane also smell like farts? Could be so I wouldn't count it out.

it will no doubt be food in the plumbing or something similar, get down there rip it all out and clean it out.
some nasty shit gets clogged up in there.

Just buy some industrial drain cleaner and pour some. Works wonder. Had to show ID to buy it 
None of that cheap shit you can find at local stores.

Instead of wasting money on load of crap products you don't need for a sink, just clean the 'Syphon'. It's not that hard to dismantle the thing and put it back together. Everyone here can build a pc no? than sanitation shouldn't be that much of a problem. If you have a case of being insecure watch a vid on it

Few weeks ago I cleaned it a bit, because it was almost completely clogged. But still some left and it stinks. I need to pour something in and not bother anymore.  |

Industrial drain cleaners are like 100% pure acid. It came with sealed plastic bag. Gotta be careful with that stuff.
Smell was really bad for next day when we used it. Entire two bottles ~~4L of it.
