I just did a foundry quest that I did not get off Nix, but when I go to him to hand it in the option is not there. When I accepted the quest it stated 'this qualifies as a daily foundry quest' (or words to that effect) What am I missing?

I guess they fixed the part where you could make her suicide 
Anyway, you need to out damage her healing so you need shitloads of damage to make her eat her own spawns so she gets healed. And don't stand on the spiderwebs because she will gain health from you.

I would be quite happy if this were a single player game (in fact I would prefer it) but, is there actually any decent loot to be had solo? I am level 30 now and not had one decent drop! Obvioulsy I have not been doing instances, but ffs the drops in this game are shite, unless, of course I assume, you are in an instance?

no mmo reward solo/leveling/questing with high end gear.
you get those from team arena's/team dungeons/raids in mmos. i doubt that nwn is different, from what i saw until now.

Which server do you guys play?
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I find green items almost 90% of the time and in low levels lvl 25 green can be much better than lvl 24 Blue item. For similar SP game play Kingdom of Amalur if you still haven't.
Why the fuck don't you want to play instances?!?!?! They are the best thing in this game. Play some dungeons. Press K, queue for a dungeon, do quests why it's searching for party (if you queue when there is no Dungeon Delves event, it can take more than 30 mins). At low levels the Dungeons are easy and more like a practice. These are not the WoW instances where you can be wiped if you don't cast your spells in time or don't have good party. The Epic Dungeons at lvl 60 are the real challenge tho. Same at the low level ones but much harder. Play the instances, learn the basics and hopefully you will love them. After that you won't want to go solo anymore and you will begin to search for good parties. :

You can of course level to 60 solo with some minor problems here and there but playing the Dungeons is most amazing part of this game. Wtf do you want to play MMO's as single player guys, ffs ?!

My main problem with those big instances is the time investment. I have very irregular playtimes, I might need to quit twenty minutes after I start. Doing that would piss people off I assume (I know people didn't like it when I tried WoW for a month way back).

i remember i did a dungeon around level 45 and i won from the rolls almost all green/blue items that dropped that i could use, i was wtf am i cheating and dont know it? 
do instances? you have queue (press L), thats how i did almost of them, dont need to find dungeon entrances or something
) and if you don't try them I am sure you won't have greater time playing it in SP.
