Okay, so I joined the dark side (for a good reason). Since v20 Firefox has caused random freezes (took me a long time to figure out why the hell my PC froze randomly one every day).

Since installing and using Chrome I haven't had a single freeze. But.....

Is there are way to increase the amount of rows of the bookmark bar? I used a plugin/addon on Firefox to have up to 4 rows since I hate using bookmark menus and find the 20 pages I visit on an almost daily basis. As it is I have 12 links in my bookmark toolbar and that's nowhere enough.

ps. is there a reason to pick Chromium over Chrome?

You could try Roomery or Extra Bookmarks Bar, two extensions in the Chrome store. I'd post the links but, egh, iPad..

Bookmark Bar Switcher This lets you switch between multiple bookmark bars.

Iconized Bookmarks Bar Helps you gain space on the bookmarks bar by adding icons instead of text.

Or.....sort them into folders and name the folders short one word names.

Tried both.. The one with the tiny little icons sucked so I guess it's Bookmark Bar Switcher for now. Roomey didn't do much, Bookmark Bar Switcher is gone. I guess I'll create folders and sort them.

Btw, is it normal for chrome to start a new instance every time you open a new tab? :

Help: Chrome has for some reason blocked most javascript/java applets etc. and I've been in every single menu and can't find a setting to make it work again. I've seen the message "Please change security settings blabla" but I can find no such thing anywhere.
