Hey guys,

As of this morning, while I was making a coffee, when I came back, my monitor flickered one or two times and started displaying a green hue on the left side of the screen and lines can be seen on the same side, but like one or two, they run for the whole left side.

Is this a video card issue or simply a monitor issue?

I have also taken a photo which I hope can at least show the green hue.

tried with different cables and connections?
if it shows same in bios, it's the screen, if it's only in windows, could be just your gfx card

Id wager on the screen itself. I've never heard of a videocard messing up in a way that it adds a uniform smooth color fade to one side of the screen. It looks like some kinda back lighting issue with it.

Gonna try with a DVI cable a little later, as BIOS itself seems to have a green tint as well, but I can't really tell since both Dashboard and Classic modes of it have a black or dark backgrounds.

God, I hope it's the monitor, it can be easily replaced since it's still in warranty whereas the video card is a tad more problematic.

What really bothers me are the horizontal lines, the pixel lines, and I can easily see the monitor being refreshed, like it appears when filming a CRT monitor, although not THAT bad.

Definitely sounds like a monitor issue to me. If it was mine Id go with the monitor choice as the gamble to take on being bad.

I changed the BIOS background to a white one and the same issue persists there as well. All that remains is trying another cable and another connection and if the problem persists, it is the monitor itself. I should also try the onboard graphics connection since the CPU has a video card as well.

This is good news, right?

Disponibilitate: in stoc la comanda online

Wonder if azerty replaces shit.

Yeah, it's the monitor, used to on-board graphics and the same thing persists.

Welp, gonna have to wait until January. Sad

Lol, emag, they're the new DC shop, only to survive they started selling EVERYTHING, can't even build a system on their site because of the stupid navigation. I should also mention my display was way more expensive when I got it, at emag, in comparison to azerty.

Azerty is pretty much the cheapest, and they really rock. I was pretty lucky with them, considering I used to work right near them. I hope they succeed, they're really awesome.

Well tbh Emag is awesome. They allow you to test anything for 30 days and if you're not satisfied with it you get to return it and get your money back.

Did so with my 680 when i got it reference since non-reference wasnt out yet and i'm not a patient guy, then returned it and bought the non-reference from somewhere else for cheaper ;p, that somewhere else being sigmanet sadly and you know the story with that as well.

This sucks so much, they're going to replace it. But I will have to choose another one that costs pretty much the same :-<
