So boiolas don't like football? That's a new one

Hey, but to each their own. | Exactly how I see it, it's just the same old shit but with new players, managers, etc.
It's awfully fun to rile them up after their team loses with their main rival or with some shit team though

I'm 28 and I play video games just as much as I did in the 90s, it's basically my #1 hobby by far , (second is.. football , I still play from time to time when they need a striker with a 15 minutes battery life ) and I don't see myself changing anytime soon really. Gaming takes the 80+% of my free time, every single day..and even if the disappointments and streamlined stuff are becoming an overwhelming reality, I'm still able to 'adapt' and in the end I manage to enjoy almost everything as long as it doesn't suck too much.
I am truly forever alone when it comes to gaming though, none of my friends currently own a PC capable of running 'complex' 3D games. Most of them have facebook machines, and even consoles are a rarity. Some actually used to be gamers back then, but now, with them wives, fiancèes and sometimes kids they've decided to become boring people instead (which I find silly and I 100% disapprove ). Therefore you guys are my only gaming buddies

Im 40 next year, and thats my ONLY hobby..Gaming and PC's.
Plus I work from home, so I literally spend like 85% of my waking time here. And gaming while working if its reallly slow. People rag on me for playing games, I ask them if they watch movies or TV shows...they say yes. I go "so you do what I do in a sense, just I interact with it, while you just stare at it".
I could care less what people think of it. I mean the way I see it, we have nothing in common to do as friends if we was... they think Im weird for playing video games, I think its weird they get excited watching and rooting for people doing their job (watching sports).

I play less due to social and work stuff, but the experience is better since I have the moniez to buy proper HW (PC, good monitor, console now and then). I can go to a cafe/bar four times a week, wasting money while I get bored, or I can do what I actually like. If someone asks you why the fook you're playing games, ask him/her what the fuck he/she does in his/her free time. That's what I do. When someone I know asks me if I don't get bored playing games, I ask him whether he gets bored playing the same fucking card game while watching the same fucking match (with different teams) every night at the cafe. I did that a month (about twice a week) to socialize more, I learned my lesson.
