Uh... that does suck indeed. Is there maybe any family/friend you can go ask for some help?

Sell your phone, you can say it's been stolen, and you'll probably get a free one like you usually do Laughing

Yeah lucky that my mom, for once, actually was of any help. She just ordered some fries and let them deliver some to my door as well. This is something rare tho, she left me without anything before..

My neighbors actually just showed up, they saw the msg i put on FB and offered me to go to the store with me to get some bread and basic stuff.
But i refused, i'm too ashamed about needing help from my neighbors.. Thanked them for the really nice gesture tho Smile

Not to sound like a dick saus, but why would you put that message on facebook and then say your ashamed of people wanting to help. Isn't that the point of putting it up on facebook in the first place?

Shouldn't be ashamed either way, people fall on hard times quite often. It's nice to know there are good people out there that want to help.

Either way, hope this all gets sorted for you Smile

I put the msg there to show others what kind of cunts these companies are, how badly they treat the people that pay them €105,- each month to handle their money.. It's disgusting..
Funny thing that our gov knows this, and they changed the laws big time surrounding this whole subject, meaning if shit like this would happen again (with the ISP not paying etc), the company is the one to blame and we are granted immunity by law.
Sad thing is, it's not active till the 1st of jan next year.. And pointless to me in this situation, even tho with making this new law, our gov basically admitted that their old ones where wrong.

Well even tho i refused, they showed up shortly after with some stuff, saying that i didn't ask for it, so i shouldn't feel ashamed.
Just now got a call from the mom of one of my best friends, she needed to know if they could access my bank account, answered "no they can't" talked a bit and then she said that i will know soon, shes going to take care of something Neutral

Even tho i really hate having to need help from the outside, this does restore my faith in quite some people.

You know my own situation too, I have *no* income whatsoever - nothing - I live with my wife and off her own meagre income too, so I know only too well what it's like to have nothing and to feel like a piece of shit living out of everyone else's pockets... but sometimes you have to and I've learned that it's more insulting to constantly keep refusing help than it is to accept it when offered Smile

Your neighbour is absolutely right too... since you didn't ASK for anything, then there's no reason to feel shame.

Weekly money...shitty thing, especialy that those problems with this company aren't the first ones. But consider this -the company my dad worked (well, still does) was on the brink of bankruptcy and didn't pay for almost half a year! And most of the people had no other choice but to keep working in hope that one day the company will pay. There's big unemploymeny in the town, not many things to do especially when you're 50+ and have worked half of you life in the same place. And at that time my mother had no job either, as she was trying to start her own rehabilitation clinic. So an unemployment benefit was the only source of income for them. Good thing is that me and my brother both have quite well paid jobs, so we could help a little...

You have awesome neighbours and friends, take care of them (and all the people who are nice to you), and accept the help without any hesitations in this moment of extreme need. I know that it's hard for you, but needing help doesn't mean being "weak" or "useless", on the contrary; you have absolutely no fault if the world around you keeps showing you the finger.

All is temporary though, better moments will come back (hopefully soon). One day, in the future, you'll be able to return the favour and that will make you feel great. Razz That's humanity done right.

Well no, i kinda forgot (with all my anger pointing towards the company, i'm not thinking clearly at this moment) that i had that money still.
But that money shouldn't be used for such stuff, it's my early Christmas present.. I should use that on useful stuff, like getting other people their present so i don't look like a fucking leech this year..

But i guess i can take a little from that for tonight.

Tho my point still stands, it's fucking retarded that i have to go through that much shit to get my OWN money..

Buying presents over buying food? There isn't a palm big enough for this.

When someone offers to do something for you like that, and you need help, accept it and tell them how much you appreciate it. You can pay them back in the future.

I think the person who gave you €50 would want you to spend it on yourself and buy food and stuff.

explains a bit why he doesnt manage his own money i guess, being too nice for his own well being, rather starve and buy presents, wtf dude, stop thinking about what other people think about you. Be nice to them with words and deeds, not fucking material commercial bullshit. I havent bought anyone presents for years. They know they can count on me when they need help.

how can u be a leech if you spend time with people and help them out with stuff of non monetary nature. Time is a much more valuable commodity. Ask them if they need help with their computer, chores around the house. heck just having someone to talk to, people value .

Any friends who expect you to buy them gifts or pay them beers n dinners , are lost souls in this commercialized corporate world i would not stick around too.

Accepting help when needed most doesn't make you a leech.

Using said help to buy presents for a third party does.
