The full patch should update from 1.00 I think, pretty sure there's also a 1.2 to 1.3 patch.

I'm hanging around at Hatmandor at the moment. Just doing lots of sidequests, its been just 10 hours but the game is getting boring, the main story is not refreshing and I think the biggest island in the game is not that big. Covered with wall of mountains.

And the menus... Well, if I were to score this game, I'd give it 7 just because of the damn inventory screen.

Is there any inventory mod?

I got a weird bug in the add-on: For an unknown reason suddenly spellcasting is no longer consuming any mana - the blue orb is always full. I have no idea what happened. Anybody got the same problem? I re-started game/PC, but it seems related to the savegames files, because if I load a very old save, its normal again. Crap.... I im gonna loose lots of hours playing and good items if I restart from this old save.... Evil or Very Mad


Sorry, I was wrong - its not a bug. Its the same problem as in TwoWorlds1 - late in the game (on higher levels) you get too powerful. With certain items for boosting willpower the mana regeneration rate is so insane that even on casting very mighty spells the blue orb is full. Makes the game too easy in my opinion.... Embarassed

You think?! I wouldn't. It's a nobrainer, DKS is a way better game... though I wouldn't really compare them. Anyway, I actually ended up loving the first Two Worlds more, but this one isn't bad either. I just couldn't find the time to get into the game and finish it as there was so much stuff to do in it.

Sabin, tell me how that mod is if you install it. I think I'll wait until I change the graphics card, so I can properly tweak the game.

The FXAA injector/ENB Series doesn't work with this or am I doing something wrong? The game doesn't start with any of those. I want to use pretty much the same thing I use for Skyrim, as this game has the same problem once you remove the ugly HDR (and I need to in order to get rid of some ugly effects), there are barely any colors in the game.

I think the only way is to manually raise the #define Saturation value inside the injFX_Settings.h file until you find the best compromise. Maybe something around 0.8-0.9 Smile

Thanks again. I used 0.9 and after I made my tweaks again, I ended up with this (vanilla tweaked, FXAA injected tweaked):













Maybe there's more to obtain with further tweaks of the game and of the injector, but this is good enough for me (at least for now).

just bought TW II last week-end finally for 30 US$. Installed with the new 1.3 patch and tell you, 3D Vision works almost perfectly with this one, only some ghosting effects in the background.
WTF, the bonus gift for registration is an useless hammer...^^"
BTW, there is a second DVD into the retail box, what is it ?

fantastic! never knew about this project at all! thanks! Very Happy
...now to find a really cheap steam key for Pirates of the FF as i have an original steam base game without the expansion.

Edit: interesting - apparently I already own the expansion, according to steam (must be bundled with my base game (???). Off to re-install.

I seem to have played this game based on my posts in this thread, I don't remember a single thing about it. I seem to be bitching baout UI, no idea how the UI was Confused First time this happens to me. I'm getting old Sad

Since I don't remember about this, I might as well play it. I can't decide between Gothic 3 or Two Worlds 2. Anyone care to comment about which one is better?

The UI does have a bunch of drawbacks, the transparency effect is distracting for example and the (In the initial version.) large icons didn't help but they added a option to make the interface smaller in a later patch though I'd still recommend using modifications to improve it further. Smile
(InsideTwoWorlds.com forums for example, might need registration though.)
