Dude of course you should patch it lol. It only solves problems, it doesn't add any. If you have 1GB VRAM install the texture patch as well.

Nice to see Crysis 2 at it's best, might be fun to do a casual replay with this mod in time for the release of Crysis 3.
(Some people might not like the artistic direction used but I'm OK with it, plus I really like all the DX11 fixes and optimizations that Maldo did with the game.)

Of course at current download speeds (0.5 KB/s or how it's written.) it might take a while and it'll slow down even more as people keep coming to download it.
Yeah I didn't use the Cvar configs (They were very optimized though like you said.) but the map optimizations and other fixes had framerate between 55 - 70 and sometimes higher depending on the level.
(Already finished and uninstalled the game again, game isn't actually that long when you know what you are doing but it was fun to see the mod in action and the game at it's best - visually at least - even if I only used it as a quick play-through.)
is there a mod or a sweetfx preset or something that makes the colors more dark or less colorful like in the stalker games for example, my eyes hurt from all the fucking rainbow like explosions

I can run this at max settings (minus dx11) but the gunplay is shit. All guns are pea shooters and the game has level sections where enemies respawn forever.
Story is also not very interesting. What a waste ... I think I'll uninstall this. Or does it get better somehow ?

Holy crap, it's so tiring I just got rid of this. What a waste of technology. It runs fluidly at all times at max settings (minus DX11) And now I find out that Crysis 3 requires a DX11 card ...
One of the most weak-feeling shooters I've played, guns, melee attacks, sounds etc, everything is boring.

It's as close you get for free Crysis 3 multiplayer!

This Mod greatly changes the layout and play of the game, making the Nanosuit a much more powerful weapon.
You can enjoy most of the Crysis 3 features balanced in game.
Developed by H3rk and fellow modders.
(There are still some bugs with the Beta, but the gameplay is still fun, nothing seriously impacting the playibility)
Current features;
- Energy can recharge while Sprinting
- Removed Energy drain from Armor (Expect when you take damage, as in the original Crysis)
- Removed Energy drain from Power Jump (Crysis3 inspired)
- Armor provides more protection against Melee and is generally stronger
- Armor provides more damage for Melee
- Attacking or Failed Stealth Kill will now take only 30% energy instead of 100%

Remember the building with the old dude in the cryo tank or whatever it was?
The display cases there shows the C1 nanosuit (Slim) and the C2 nanosuit (bulky) and then two other suits, one blue and one red.
(Well with small patches of blue or red.)
Those are the suits for the two teams in multiplayer.
Although yeah they could have used the same animations even if it's for separate character models.
(The animations are also split between MP and SP.)
