Well, despite all the fuckin shit happening in posts above i actually managed to run the game without installing Anti-blaxx!!
You need to set W2000 Compatiliby and then DENY all the PERMISSIONS in the registry on the Daemon Tools folder ! Then it run even without the Virtual Cd-HIde program!

About the Game: it's preety fun and the arcade controls make it very good to play!
Although i still didn't finished 2nd mission! Very hard ...heehehe

easy

1)disable cdrom in bios
2) mount with dt3.47
3) launch the old starfuck 0.82beta
4) patch the securom black list
5) play

note: it works with SecuROM 7.00.00.0022 (Heroes of the Pacific, ....,...)

not working anymore with SecuROM 7.00.00.0029 (Myst,...,...)

i took the liberty to delete like a dozen stupid posts. instead of bitching about people poluting threads with questions about how to run it, stop poluting threads with more than stupid cock length comparisons and sissy fights.

Amen.\

Game is pretty fun, but while playing as a rookie i cant get through level 3. Those wingmen doesnt understand my commands. I cant blame them though, cause the commands are very absolete. I mean,"form up"and the are going after surface targets ???

I have found a trick on another forum to make running the game less antiblaxx:

Mount with daemon tools,
Run virtual cd hide,
Used it to hide the drives,
Exited virtual cd hide,
Exited daemon tools via the system tray leaving emulation enabled,
Ran the game in windows 2000 compatabilty mode.

Good Game.

For Eliz : (make this to fix your deamon tool)

1)... Open Control Panel, Scroll down to System icon and double left click, in Hardware <TAB> select (left click) Device Manager, Expand SCSI and RAID Controllers box by left clicking , then right click on D347PRT SCSI driver and select uninstall,
Scroll further down and select System Devices, Expand this by left clicking and uninstall the PNP BIOS Extension entry.
Close control panel and open your main Windows folder, open Regedit (blue squared icon) and from the folder tree (Left hand window), left click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
scroll down to SYSTEM then Current Control Set then SERVICES,
Search for folders named D347prt and D347bus Delete both entries (right click select delete).
Close regedit and navigate to Windows/System32/Drivers, then delete D347bus.sys and D347prt.sys drivers and then reboot your System before reinstalling Daemon Tools...

Good luck.

lots of games have been doing that lately...putting incredibly hard or cheap area's throughout...seems like its just to piss the user off

Im curious if i am having protection problems or game problems.

When i start the game it loads up fine and Shows the Heroes of the Pacific screen with the picture of the guys sitting in the plane. Then it starts to load and thats when it just kicks me back to desktop and then asks if i want to send the error info to Microsoft. I have tried the anti blaxx method and the VirtualCDHide method and its the same with all.

so im just wondering if this is the protection, or if something else is going on.

thanks
