I guess this is a DVD rip as its on 6 CDs.

Whenever I start the game (from the in-game main menu), upon the loading screen where the progress bar is, the game just freezes when the bar is in the middle, and I have to exit the process.

I have an ATI 9800Pro 125mb gfx, with 1gig of PC RAM.......

And ideas?

Tell me about it.... I thought it could be my soundcard (I've a SB Live Value card, I know, I need a new one), but if that was the case, it wouldn't even run, or event refuse to belt out music?

My ATI, DirectX, SB drivers are all upto date......... so I'll just give up on it.... lol.......
