Misogynism is one thing, but any game that has a "touch the stripper without being caught" mini-game is just lame. Ignoring all the sexism inherent in it, it's just... Why? What fun is there in that? (For anyone who has had sex in their life, at least.)

Also, games have been around since the late-70s. Popular gaming has been around since the early-80s. Why do we still have "Like" meters? Lazy.

The Escapist gave it a 3.5 out of 5 because - are you ready? - the main characters are bad people. I don't even know what to say

Shouldn't that be a, you know, a plus? Seeing as how every hero is a good guy. Why not a game where the main character is a villain or an anti-hero.

Some reviewers just take it too far, ever since video games have become so advanced and artsy, connected and mainstream and indie.
They try too hard to be sophisticated and let their moralistic views and current state of mind (which is susceptible to priming) dictate the game's worthiness.
As if they now suddenly had some kind of greater responsibility towards the general public. (self-importance complex)
Also makes it incredibly easy for pretentious games to get away with raving reviews.

Someone pulled out an XML file via a 360 dev kit btw, which has an Orbis (PS4) and PC profile in it Wink

PS4 they haven't done much with yet, but the PC config has some substantial changes in the way you'd expect; much higher pedestrian counts, higher texture pools and even things like radiuses for AI and traffic (+lights Very Happy). Also notable is the fact that the current PC config does AI calculations more frequently. Obviously this is for development purposes only, but the insanely increased values show that they *do* run on the PC and *are* testing Razz

You are, try to communicate properly instead of this 'trolling teenager crap' or do you honestly think you are funny or cool with typing like you do?

If anything it just shows you are either some uneducated scum or a child that doesn't know when a proper fuck/swear is empowering instead of overused and devalued.

Most people have had it with you and ignored you, take that as a hint. And if not... well guess you'll have to make a new account soon.

I thought it's a known fact by now that some developers use 360 emulators to test stuff.

The entries are specific to PC and Orbis, along with other specific entries for 360.

I see. Probably a mistake, but I do hope it comes to next-gen consoles, I'm in the market for a PS4. It would be stupid not to, I mean, you know, profit!

Sometimes the price goes down before release, but too late for them to change the amount that they're taking (due to when they earmark money out of bank accounts). In those cases they refund back onto the payment card. Though better safe than sorry, I suppose. Smile

it makes sense to include mcreary, since gta 4´s three leaf clover mission was an inspiration for the gta 5 heists.

Looks like there's some problem with the disc install feature for the X360 version, or well one of the discs at least should not be installed on the HDD.
(Didn't another game have that issue a while back? Skyrim was it? )

It's not a problem with the discs or anything, it's just that only installing the "install disc" and not the "play disc" will allow the game to be accessed from two places instead of just the HDD.

Hmm I think I understand, I don't have a X360 (Or PS3) so I don't know much about those systems. Smile
(I assumed the game got confused about how to stream content or some such thus the weird texture issue.)

For the longest time, I always felt reviews are ultimately opinions and therefore subjective, but if they are going to give something a score, they should never deduct score just because they don't like it subjectively.
