What's hularious to me is that in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia, "moba" (with long "o") is the old word for joint work in the field (e.g. you have a big crop you can't handle yourself, you call all your neighbours to help, then they call you in the next occasion etc).
And after all these years, I still have a half-second "wtf" feeling whenever I hear "moba", and then I go, "oh, fuckin' dota"....
