I like all the 3 main characters in there different series, but that movie had nothing going on for me Sad The cop gag was fun almost to the end tho.

It's not as funny as Four Lions which is hands down the best comedy of the last 20+ years.

Yes that is what we were hoping would be started with this exchange. A debate about what comedy is better than the other.

Nope, it's a straight, obvious comparison between 2 movies that have something in common : Idiots.
On topic then:

Drinking Buddies

Good film with very good character development plus Olivia Wilde-Cockburn for some fellow nfohumpers..

7.0/10

I thought The Godfather Part 2 was a far better film than the hangover Part 2.

these films both have a largely male cast and have part 2 in the title so they have that in common, so I can compare them.

Yeah, but you don't see us comparing it to prometheus, that had even more idiots (every mother fucking single person in that movie)...

I found four lions to be pretty boring and the characters in them depicted too real to be as stupid as they acted.

I'll reiterate to make it easier to digest. Nobody was saying Dumb and Dumber was better than X movie. They were just recommending it.

I've compared these 2 films because they obviously rely their plot to dumb conversations. You are right, dumb actions are a part of all films but these 2 are build around these actions.

I know, I just pointed out a comedy that relies on what dumb people do and say. That's it. Move on.

The colony 5.5/10 - started pretty okay but as it moved on it gradually become worse and worse

Redemption 5.5/10 - something a little bit different from Statham yet same old, same old. I would enjoyed it more if they would hire someone else for the main female role than Buzek. Oh! God! her polish-english accent was hurting my ears. I dunno if it was on purpose so the audience would know she is polish but that was just mood killing.

I'm at season 3, but season 1 is still the best so far. Omar is the best character so far though Very Happy

The first season is the best in The Wire, just like Treme.

The second/third seasons of Treme though were pretty much terrible.

Nah, 4th season of The Wire is the best and according to what I gathered from the web, most people seem to agree. But yeah I'd put the 1st season on a close 2nd place Very Happy
