This is an ongoing challenge, someone poses a challenge - whoever wins it (gets the right answer) poses a new challenge. Challenges can take any shape or form, they can be written clues, screenshots, images of details, soundbytes, or similar (it is up to the creativity of the one posing the challenge) - if replies dwindle or people get stumped, the one posing the challenge can post further clues or simply give the answer.

If no one answers for 12 hours, a new challenge can be posted.

----

First challenge (to get things started):

I am an old British Sci-Fi TV-show, most of the episodes started out of England's capital, in a basement of sorts. One of Britains most iconic (and rich) musicians made a song based on it. It also inspired lots of other shows.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

OK, fine you freaks.

The show was first aired in the 70's, it has been remade several times, it was based on a concept of superior humans , which was used by David Bowie in a song.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

The Tomorrow People?

Was pretty sure it was bowie you were talking about, and thought the song would be major tom but I didn't knew of a connection between that song and any show Neutral

Oh... guessed the artist at least.
Ok:

I am a very underrated and barely known american drama/mistery TV show focusing on the adventures of two detectives in the 40's New York city. One of them had a love/hate relationship with a pretty boy named vince on another much more well known show and the other has lots of leverage.

I am a science fiction TV show that spun off a film back in the early 90's. Milk is an important theme throughout me and one of the aliens (LOLHINT) is now a heavily bearded CIA agent.

Catweazle^^ I've seen him wandering/being mentioned on the interwebs multiple times, but never actually seen the show. Razz

I am an old TV-show that aired in the 90s, pretty popular as well, and where the protagonist becomes known for several catchphrases such as "Did I do that?" or "You love me, don't you?". His father is another crucial character of the show, also famous for being featured in the cover of 'Call of Duty' Cool Face

So is it my turn now?

I'm a socio-critical Show made a few years back, which is kind of a parody on a long running puppet/kids show..

I would say Spitting Image but I don't think it's puppets. There was something similar in Poland called Polskie Zoo.

EDIT: I change that to Podge and Rodge although I have seen only some bloopers from them.
