open notepad.
Type a dot
.
copy it.
Paste it 9 times. So you end up with 10 dots.
..........
Copy these 10 dots, past it after the 10 first, so you end up with 100 dots
redo this is many times as you can.
My clipboard pretty much gave up at 9th time (copy/pasting 100'000'000 dots).
How far can you go ? ^^

oh and watch the temps of your cpu lol.
you'll notice a loading time first at copying 10'000 dots.
copying 100'000 dots is already several seconds (2-4)
after that it just goes downhill ^^

CPU ain't limiting me (17% usage was max), reaching 8GB of ram and full SSD read/write speeds are limiting me

Isn't "sending" some large file to notepad enough to cause this? 
I remember trying that back in the day, but it was really a good while back.
