Just a quick question about this service.

You can either rent or buy a digital copy of a movie. On their help section it says that if you rent it, you can even download it for offline playback.

Now my question is: if you rent it, will you be limited in the playback (i.e., your pc won't be able to play it anymore after a specific amount of days) or not?

I don't know the answer to your question but is there any point in renting it even if there weren't any limits on how long you could play it for? I mean it's pretty much the same as just downloading a pirate copy.

Having a copy always available online is different imo and maybe worth it.

I'm almost 100% sure, that after you hit play they give you a limited amount of time probably 24-48 to watch it as many times/ on any device you want until the time runs out.

Maybe you can only play the file with the amazon player, which would make it easy for them to block it after a certain amount of time. But I haven't tried it myself, so it's only a guess...
