Why anyone would pay money (any money at all - never mind the outrageous amounts they charge) to essentially eat raw fish wrapped in fucking seaweed is beyond me.
Civilization has come a long way culinarily speaking - we cook our foods now with this thing called fire, and we have superior metallic utensils like forks, knives, and spoons instead of having to resort to eating with pairs of whittled sticks.
Sorry, no sympathy here.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Technically the fish is smoked, and quite often fully cooked Sushi is the RICE, not the fish, it's Sashimi when the fish is raw Some of it can be quite delicious, haha.
True sushi has raw fish, salmon and tuna mostly. Just make it at home. The first time I tried, it went very well. You can use whatever you want and for about 10 euros I got five rolls, equalling 50 pieces.
Only thing i don't like is Sea Urchin, Scallops, and Salmon eggs.
One of the best ways to have Tuna. (Has to be fresh)
I caught a nice size tuna in Mexico. Cleaned it, and cubed the meat. Mixed raw Tuna cubes with Tomatoes and jalapenos. Cut a fresh lemon and squeeze the entire lemon on the raw Tuna mix. This sears the tuna turning it white.
Sushi can be good indeed if done properly (it's difficult to find a decent place here, though ), but if I had to choose, I'd rather have my cooked gilt-head bream/sea-bass with thyme, tomatoes and lemon sauce instead (or any other high quality fish as long as it's cooked). Not a big fan of raw stuff in general, I'm much more "traditional"
