not sure why they keep making THD only games and lose out on 90% of android market. smart devs just have THD features that you can turn on or off, but game runs on most devices. i guess nvidia paid them enough so they don't mind losing out so much market share.

It's worse than that. Tegra can't do anything the other GPUs can't; in fact, it's behind them. OpenGL ES 2.0 instead of 3.0 on the newer GPUs, no OpenCL. Tegra 4 will at least get back up there with OpenGL, but still no OpenCL. This whole Tegra lock-in is just retarded, to the same level as Rocksteady's AA debacle was.

90%???? Seriosuly? Those numbers just doesn't make any sense...

Don't they? Not one of Samsung's devices runs on Tegra. US versions of the One X run on Adreno 225. All the new devices (One, Nexus 4/Optimus G) run on Adreno 320.
90% may be a little exaggerated, but it's certainly at least 60-70%. |

Oh right, their first generation tabs ran on Tegra. None of their phones do though.

APK hosting sites state that Chainfire should be used for non-Tegra devices, so I presume that means it works.

Kinda hard to test chainfire when it doesn't work on HC/ICS/JB 
(atleast no official version, there are some that got it to work on HC/ICS, but none on JB so far  )
