Is the scene dead? So it seems.
Months ago the scene wasn't able to release a working image of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Now chances are, that release will never see the light. Basically, Microsoft's owning our sorry asses like there's no tomorrow.
Hoodlum and Vengeance were busted in the Internation Crackdown vs Warez (july 4th, 2005) and since then, the scene is somewhat sad. Less releases, less overall quality, not to mention Dvdrips are now generally out AFTER their commercial releases or (when we're lucky) 1-2 days before. Hell, I could even get them from Blockbuster with 3-4 of my friends and rip them for a ridiculous amount of money.
I don't want to open a destructive/bitching thread (and of course I'm not against the scen) but what do you guys think? Is it over? Are the crews slowly dying? Did the Entertainment corporations beat the holy shit out of Warez for good?
And please don't answer me like "hey, I still see a lot of releases every day", since ripping Ass Wide Open 5 or Kick Ass Chicks 21 Squirters won't exactly bring the crews glory or give some fresh air to the scene's situation.

Yep, u gotta be slicker nowdays...and as for releases, shortly after the busts, things did slow down, but now, I think things are back on a steady flow.
Tv rips, xxx, games, movies etc all come out in a timely fashion
Sure, we wont see the final copies of games being released 2 weeks - a month before the retail date, but thats ok with me...even if I have to wait a day to get the game, I dont mind 
to many impatient folks nowadays
