But do you really need faster speeds? Do a lot of site servers provide speeds faster than 100Mbps? It seems like a waste of money to me.

They do, actually. Usenet is the obvious example, but even a lot of sites do allow you to go full speed.

I personally want more upload though, could really do with even 50 Mbit instead of the 10 I have atm (120/10).
