Yeah, asked the same on their FB. Let's see if they actually bother to reply..

Kinda stupid tho, FC3BD is a DLC for FC3, wich was in the original pack but not the reloaded, but the reloaded gets the DLC... Makes sense Laughing

AMD values the loyalty of all its customers and we have been thrilled with the success of the Never Settle and Never Settle: Reloaded promotions. However, due to the limited quantity of game-keys provided to AMD, the difficult decision to make Far Cry® 3: Blood Dragon available only to customers of the Never Settle: Reloaded promotion had to be made.

All good news for AMD.... in the long run.. It will take 1-2 years for the brainy impact of these people to reach the customers since products coming out in 12 months is already too far long down the pipeline to be changed. Jim Keller is working on what's coming after that. I really hope they don't put him on APU duty, or that he manages to get AMD that there should be a very high performance APU segment.

Meanwhile Raja is coming to an already healthy (from the outside) division. Let's see if he will have a major impact on GCN v3 or if he creates a new architecture from the ground out on 14nm. Wink

Well it's indeed a WHQL driver, must have come from a 7990 install disc or some such, AMD will probably have it on their website by Wednesday if so. Smile
(Would be nice to know what it does.)

Driver date is March 28th.

Have you tried doing a clean installation (via AMD's utility or some 3rd party one)?

Apparently those 13.4 WHQL drivers are just to support newest products, some little fixes also compared to 13.3 beta 3. These drivers are coming tomorrow to AMD site, also the long waited 13.5 beta will be there also which has CFX issues solved, also some DX10/DX11 games performance improvements. In other words its that GCN rewrite driver, which is supposed to come with 7990.

Can only hope tho Very Happy Some OCN dude got beta access to the drivers in AMD OCN LAN event and he said that there is indeed CFX fixes and some additional performance improvements.

The GCN rewrite driver was supposed to deal with memory management, not CFX issues, if I recall correctly...

Also new CAPs (13.4) are out. Not sure if the 13.5 B2 driver has its own included though...

EDIT: The new betas seem to have killed DXVA support for me. The player freezes and starts to lag like hell. Gonna have to look into this.

The driver version in 13.5b2 is just a slight bit older than 13.4 WHQL but it's the 12.5 branch so it does have other fixes like maybe improved frame latency for Crossfire.
(Unsure if that ties in to the memory management GCN rewrite planned for beta in the 13.6 drivers or when it was.)
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=377590

13.4 cap 1 is also out.
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=377598
(On occasion there's some fix or tweak for single GPU's but it's mostly for Crossfire profile compatibility.)

What is the easiest way to limit fps and force vsync on ati ?
radeonpro right ?

does radeon proa and sweetfx work together well ? (since both are injectors)

btw. how much is 4xssaa (in ccc) with 1080p resolution. It will be an eqivalent to 2160p downsampling ?

RP has integrated SweetFX support - you can configure and apply it through Radeon Pro. In fact it even works better, allowing to use SweetFX in some games where it doesn't work on its own (or at least it was that way... perhaps SFX got updated in the meanwhile).

I'd say 4xSSAA is better than downsampling in terms of quality for various reasons. I would even say that any SSAA mode is better if you have to choose between the two (downsampling or SSAA)... if it's supported that is. Performance impact is another issue though.

Performance impact should be the same with 2xssaa as downsamplin 1440p to 1080p

That is... I reinstalled win7 and forgot to isntall 12.11 first andd set custom res in amdgui tool.... now I am stuck with 13.5 beta2 and no 1440p resolution... and that german resolution tool works only with 12.11.
I cant be assed around to reinstal 12.11, delete and instal 13.5 again.

actually the new sweetfx (that newer version than 1.4) gives good smaa results with sharpening.)

Can you put in RadeonPro VRM temperatures to OSD? That tool is so handy with Crossfire setup, you can eliminate microstuttering shitloads with it (gonna try it myself today). Turning on VSYNC in games pretty much eliminates every single microstutter, but gives bit too much input lag for my taste, DFC + vsync in RadeonPro would give similar results without input lag.

Tried using flip queue size to see if it helps with this?

No way that I know of.
You can however wire the VRM temps from HWiNFO 64 into Riva Tuner OSD (from Afterburner, for example).

It works, but it's quite a hassle, since you will need Radeon Pro (well, you need RP only if you intend to use it), Afterburner (and it's OSD server) and HWinfo running all at the same time Very Happy

I run AF and RP as it is anyway, but the OSD for AF is disabled, since it actually caused some conflicts in a couple of games when it was running (and didn't really need it).

Few more questions.
Reinstalled 12.11
used downsampling gui 0.6 to add 1440p. The highest res I could add was 2720x1530... So amd cant downsample from 4k ? or is it my u2312hm/

Anyway, clean, reinstalled and 1440p downsampling works.

ohhh and there is something weird about enw radeonpro.. its ui flickers
